Dance at Eastlake this Thursday - June 2, 2016

Hi Again Dancers,  

  Let's dance back at Eastlake this Thursday June 2, 2016, at the Eastlake I Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista 91913.  There'll be snacks and beverages.  A $5 donation will be requested.  It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share.  DJ Bing will play line dances 6pm-7pm, followed by mixed ballroom and line dancing until 10pm.  DIRECTIONS:  Take the H Street East to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into parking lot - the clubhouse is behind the the gated fence.


LAST THURSDAY's DANCE PARTY, May 26, 2016 - DJ Bing played for about 25 happy dancers in Old Town.  Food and snacks featured champorado from Eden and Nick.  There also was pizza and other goodies.  The six photos below show part of the fun night.   (Note: If the following 6 photos do not appear when you look at this email, click the words at the top of this email that say something like "Show images which are still blocked to protect your privacy" - I already know who you are):

THURSDAY MAY 26, 2016, AT OLD TOWN COMMUNITY CHURCH:

LINE DANCING was was non-stop from 6pm-7pm.  Then, periodically until 10pm.  Above Edith, Beth and Eden were in the front line dancing to "Mamita Mia".

MORE LINE DANCING, this time to "Carinito", it was Dolores and Eva more or less in the front line.  

BALLROOM.  We guys preferred the ballroom dances.  Above, Lou and Tito were dancing to the waltz "Les Bicyclettes De Belsize".

WE WANT TO DANCE.  Neriza, Myrna and Patty just couldn't resist dancing to "Ring My Bell".

INTRODUCING A VIP visiting from his overseas job in Abu Dhabi, Dwayne and Eva introduced Dwayne's cousin Bimboy (an engineer, who is holding a water bottle). 

EVEN MORE LINE DANCING, this time to "Take Me Away", above, it was Rima, Beth and Edith in the front line.

Thursday, June 16, 2016:   Dancing 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake 1 lakeside clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913.  DJ Bing Villafuerte.


Thursday, June 23, 2016:   Dancing 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake 1 lakeside clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913.  DJ Bing Villafuerte.


  It's a fun dance party most every Thursday night with line dances and ballroom dances like swing including Manila Swing (also known as 4-count hustle or Philippine swing or Filipino swing), cha cha, night club 2-step, tango and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego.  While the dancing is continuous, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.  Hmmm - I bet the simultaneous instructions while others are dancing make these, for example, the best free hustle dancing lessons in San Diego.
