DANCE PARTY at Eastlake Thursday December 2, 2021

 Hello Dancers,  

   You are invited to a DANCE PARTY this Thursday December 2, 2021, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, and beverages. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. The adorable DJ Mel Zaragoza will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm. I hope you had an enjoyable Thanksgiving.

  MASKS to prevent COVID spread?  Well, the homeowners association has not issued any COVID coronavirus requirements. But, in order to have a healthy dance, please do not come in if you have a fever, cough, or other cold or flu symptoms.  Anyone can wear a mask who chooses. Everyone should bring a mask, just in case the requirements change at the last minute.

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

COWBOY & COWGIRL & WESTERN DANCE PARTY AT EASTLAKE was last Thursday, November 18th, with DJ Bing Villafuerte. Here are a few photos:

  

 

LINE DANCING.  Line dancing was non-stop from 6pm - 7pm.  In the photo above, Belen, Rei and Nene were in the front line, more or less.  The line dance was "Dahil Sa Iyo" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ra7_mXSdRpU ). Ballroom dancing continued off & on until 10pm.

NOVEMBER BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY AT EASTLAKE was last Thursday, November 11th, with DJ Nickie Bascos. Here are a few photos:

  

 

 LINE DANCING.  Line dancing was non-stop from 6pm - 7pm.  In the photo above, Irish and Roxanne were in the front line, more or less.  I think the line dance was "Bachata Risma" also known as "Borracho Y Loco" and "Lamento Boliviano" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VO-gndsGLvo ).  GREAT FOOD, in the photo above (well, there was a lot more), was provided thanks to the generosity of many dancers.

 BY THE LAKE.  In the photo above, it was Nanie, Faye, Edith and Aida by the shore of Eastlake early in the evening. This was the last week of Daylight Saving Time.

 

 

 

LINE DANCING.  Line dancing was non-stop from 6pm - 7pm.  Ric snapped the photo above of me in the line between Edith and Belen.  It was an oldie & goodie that I remembered, "Sex Bomb" line dance ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NFTeSCmfwk4 reasonably close version ). Ballroom dancing continued off & on until 10pm.
