NO DANCE PARTY at Eastlake Thursday March 2, 2023

Hello Dancers, 

  Sorry, but again there will be NO DANCE this Thursday March 2nd at Eastlake.  Another Eastlake group reserved the clubhouse.  But, please come dancing the following week, March 9th, for the March Birthdays Party.

A DANCE PARTY was at Eastlake last Thursday, February 23rd, with DJ Bing Villafuerte, on a cold-weather night.  There were 35 dancers.  Here are four photos, some from the Facebooks, where you can see about 100 nice photos:

 

  LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6 to 7pm, and off and on until 10PM.  In the photo above, Connie and Roland were in the front line, dancing to a relatively new one at Eastlake called "Amame" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lXp_4oC60Dk ). 

 

 

  BEFORE EATING, dancers posed for the photo above. Beth gave a blessing for the food, and thankfulness for bringing us all together.

 

 

  BALLROOM DANCING was frequent, too.  In the photo above, Annie was dancing with Chito, probably to a swing dance.

 

 ENERGETIC RUBEN dipped Mona, in the photo above, during a dance that they were doing.

Thursday, March 16, 2023:  ST. PATRICK'S DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. Prizes for best St. Patrick's Day attire.  DJ Nickie Bascos.  Daylight Saving Time will be back, so lakeside photos will return.


Thursday, March 23, 2023:  DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913.  DJ Bing Villafuerte.  And, it'll be the 7th anniversary of Thursday night dancing at Eastlake.


  It's a fun dance party most Thursday nights with line dances and ballroom dances like swing, cha cha, night club 2-step, cumbia, rumba and much much more.

DANCE PARTY at Eastlake Thursday February 23, 2023

Hello Dancers, 

   You are invited to a DANCE PARTY this Thursday February 23, 2023, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, and beverages. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share.  The spectacular DJ Bing Villafuerte will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm.  Cool and dry weather is forecast.

  MASKS required?  Well, the homeowners association still has a "masks recommended" sign on the door.  In order to have a healthy dance, please do not come in if you have a fever, a bad cough, or other serious cold or flu symptoms.  Anyone can wear a mask who chooses. Everyone should bring a mask, just in case the requirements change at the last minute.

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

A VALENTINES DANCE PARTY was at Eastlake last Thursday, February 9th, with DJ Nickie Bascos, on a nice-weather night.  There were over 50 dancers.  Here are four photos, mostly from the Facebooks, where you can see about 200 nice photos:

A FEBRUARY BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY was at Eastlake last Thursday, February 2nd, with DJ Bing Villafuerte, on a nice-weather night.  There were 45 dancers.  Here are some photos, including from the Facebooks, where you can see about 200 nice photos:

 ELVIS PRECISELY came in from Las Vegas for a special performance at Eastlake in the photo above.  Dancers danced to him singing "All Shook Up" and "Don't Be Cruel".

 

 

 

 THE CAKE.  Once again Myra (Veronica) baked a delicious birthday cake for the birthday party.  It was in the photo above.  It was a 3-layer cake with creamy white frosting, and mousse separating the layers.
