You are invited to a dance party this Thursday February 1, 2018, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food and beverages. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation. Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. The adorable DJ Bing Villafuerte will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm.
DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive. Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive. The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.
Last Thursday (January 25th) was BLACK & WHITE NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake. Thanks in part to 1st-timers and returning dancers, there were over 30 dancers enjoying the great music of DJ Bing Villafuerte, as you can see in the 7 photos below. THURSDAY JANUARY 25, 2018, BLACK & WHITE NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake:
LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6 to 7pm, and off & on the rest of the night. Above, early in the night, dancing to "I'm Not The Only One", using the steps of "Simplemente", it was Edith and Nene in front, more or less.
FOOD LINE. Here's a "Thank You", and some credits for very delicious food. Nick & Eden brought spaghetti & meatballs and seasoned rolls. Estrelle brought baked chicken. Nedy brought fried rice. Beth brought chicken salad. Mel brought sotanghon. Ralph brought baked chicken. Geraldine brought spaghetti. Connie brought dinuguan. And, there was more.
WEST COAST SWING LESSON was given by Chito and Cindy. "Thank You!" to Chito and Cindy.
BALLROOM DANCING. We guys preferred the ballroom dances. Above, Daisy and Lito were dancing "Corazon De Melon" cha cha.
SELFIES were taken by the dozen. Above Delia, 1st-timer Menchie, and Nedy were in one.

Rei brought Greek salad. Beth brought watermelon. Mel brought sotanghon. Elma brought chicken salad. Jake brought leche flan. DJ Bing brought polvoron dessert. Ralph brought leche flan. And, there was more.
MIRA MESA BFF DANCERS, Pat, Aurora, Beth, Vangie and Carmen, were special guests, and they performed a "special number", the "Love Worth Waiting For" line dance.

SHAKE IT. A little while later, Eden was enjoying DJ Nickie's lesson to learn the "Shake Your Booty" line dance.

Nedy brought trail mix. Nene brought onde onde with ube. Belen and Rei brought arroz caldo. Nina brought bibingka. Geraldine brought spaghetti. Beth brought banana dessert. And, there was more.
BALLROOM DANCING. We guys preferred the ballroom dances. Above, Beth and Romy were dancing a night club 2-step named "Paano Kaya".
HAPPY BIRTHDAY was being sung to January birthday celebrants Josie, Ruben and 1st-timer Sally.

LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6 to 7pm, and off & on the rest of the night. Above, dancing to "Cake By The Ocean", a new line dance, it was Karina in front, sort of, while DJ Nickie gave directions.
FOOD LINE. Above, Nina was ready to give a blessing for the large amount of food. Here's a "Thank You", and some credits. Nick & Eden brought tocino, rice and munggo guisado. Rei brought layered dip and chips. Mel (not the DJ, but the other Mel) brought sotanghon. Estrelle brought chicken salad sandwiches. Elma brought fruit. Remy brought chicken corn soup. Karina brought sliders. Nedy brought cookies. Nina brought macaroni salad. Belen brought cookies and cake. And, there was more.
BALLROOM DANCING. We guys preferred the ballroom dances. Above, Daisy and Lito danced to the bachata "Careless Whisper".
