Hello Dancers,  
    Well, there will be NO THURSDAY NIGHT DANCE PARTY this coming Thursday August 27th, at Lola Happy Bistro, 3421 E. Plaza Blvd., National City 91950, because we reduced the schedule to have dances only for special events, usually every other week.  BUT, be sure to come to the ARABIAN NIGHT DANCE PARTY on September 3, 2026, especially if you have some Arabian attire.

  DIRECTIONS:  Lola Happy Bistro, 3421 E. Plaza Blvd., National City 91950, is almost a mile east of the 805-Plaza Blvd exit, at the signal-lighted intersection of Plaza Blvd and Manchester Street. We will be in the restaurant with a few regular customers.

AN AUGUST BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY was at Lola Happy Bistro on this past Thursday night, August 20, 2026, with DJ Nickie Bascos.  The party was in Lola Happy Bistro, on a mild and dry night.  There were about 45 in attendance, thanks in part to about 10 first-timers.  Here are 5 photos from last Thursday's Dance Party, almost all were copied from Facebooks:

 ROLAND'S INSPIRING DANCERS PERFORMED LINE DANCING.  Line dancing was a favorite all evening.  In the photo above, Roland's Inspiring Dancers performed the line dance "Ole Es La Vida" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lxNn8pezTbk ) in their new custom-made Roland's Inspiring Dancers T-shirts.  In the line by the audience were Jannet, Lolit and Irish.  In the middle line were Eva and Geraldine.  Roland was dancing near the stage. 

 

 

HAPPY BIRTHDAY - BIRTHDAY CELEBRANTS Lynn and 2 first-timers Beth and Jayne with birthdays in August, posed for the photo above.  DJ Nickie gave them a bagged gift.

A CARIBBEAN NIGHT DANCE PARTY was at Lola Happy Bistro on this past Thursday night, August 6, 2026, with DJ Bing Villafuerte, on a mild and dry night. A HAWAIIAN NIGHT DANCE PARTY was at Lola Happy Bistro on this past Thursday night, July 9, 2026, with DJ Bing Villafuerte, on a mild and dry night.   LINE DANCING was a favorite.  In the photo above, Roland's Inspiring Dancers, in Hawaiian attire,  performed a line dance to Aloha Oe Remix ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AGZSeROHAag ).  In this photo we see Jannet, Lolit and Irish near the audience.  Faye, Eva and Geraldine were in the middle line. Roland was near the stage. 

 

 

 "THE FRIENDS" PERFORMED, in the photo above, in Hawaiian attire.   In the line by the audience were Karina and Sheila. Nedy, Angie and Josie were near the stage.  Beth and Rei were hidden. 

 

 

  BALLROOM DANCING was abundant. In the photo above, Ruben and Rossana were dancing to what appears to be a merengue.

 

 

  WINNING COUPLES in HAWAIIAN Night party attire posed for the photo above.  They were Marta and Jeff, John and Faye, DJ Bing and Jannet, Ver and Ditas, Roland and Irish, and Cisco and Maria.  Mark and Rei, Romi and Geraldine, and Dwayne and Eva were also winning couples, but not in this photo.  Lydia and Josie donated prizes.
