NO DANCE at LOLA HAPPY BISTRO Thursday June 4, 2026

Hello Dancers,  
   Well, there will be NO THURSDAY NIGHT DANCE PARTY this coming Thursday June 4th at Lola Happy Bistro, 3421 E. Plaza Blvd., National City 91950, because we reduced the schedule to have dances only for special events, usually every other week.  So, come to the Filipino Night Dance Party on June 11th, especially if you have some Filipino attire. 

  DIRECTIONS:  Lola Happy Bistro, 3421 E. Plaza Blvd., National City 91950, is almost a mile east of the 805-Plaza Blvd exit, at the signal-lighted intersection of Plaza Blvd and Manchester Street. We will be in the restaurant with a few regular customers.

AN ANIMAL PRINTS NIGHT DANCE PARTY was at Lola Happy Bistro on this past Thursday night, May 28, 2026, with DJ Nicke Bascos, on a mild and dry night. There were 65 in attendance, the most so far in 2026, thanks in part to 4 first-timers.  Here are 10 photos from last Thursday's Dance Party, many were copied from Facebooks.

 LINE DANCING was a favorite.  In the photo above, Roland's Inspiring Dancers, in ANIMAL PRINTS party night attire, posed after performing a new line dance called "Rhumbumbumba Line Dance" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RYkNwstyep0 ).  Posing in line were Mayet, Jannette, Geraldine, Remy, Lolit, Irish, Mary Jane, Fe and Faith. Roland and Gody were on the stage.  

 

 

  GROOVE & GLAM PERFORMED, in the photo above, in ANIMAL PRINTS party night attire. Groove & Glam is a relatively new dance group, and the audience appreciated seeing them again, performing a line dance in Lola Happy Bistro.  In the line by the audience were Faith, Irish, Lolit and Mayet.   Beverly, Analyn and Marie were nearer the stage.    You are invited to an ANIMAL PRINTS DANCE PARTY at Lola Happy Bistro this coming Thursday May 28th, at Lola Happy Bistro, 3421 E. Plaza Blvd., National City 91950, with the miraculous DJ Nickie Bascos, especially if you have some animal prints attire.  There'll be lots of dancing, fun, and food and beverages on display or off the menu (don't bring any food or beverages - you are urged to buy a dinner, even if you just take it home). DJ Nickie will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 9:30pm. Animal prints-attired dancers vie for prizes. A mild night with a possibility of light rain is currently forecast.

  THE CAKE.  Lola Happy Bistro provided another delicious chocolate layer cake for the Birthday Party.  It had a cream filling.

CINCO DE MAYO (MEXICAN) NIGHT DANCE PARTY at LOLA HAPPY BISTRO Thursday April 30, 2026

Hello Dancers,  
   You are invited to a CINCO DE MAYO (MEXICAN) DANCE PARTY at Lola Happy Bistro this coming Thursday April 30th, at Lola Happy Bistro, 3421 E. Plaza Blvd., National City 91950, with the magnificent DJ Nickie Bascos, especially if you have some Cinco De Mayo attire.  There'll be lots of dancing, fun, and food and beverages on display or off the menu (don't bring any food or beverages - you are urged to buy a dinner, even if you just take it home). DJ Nickie will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 9:30pm. Cinco de Mayo-attired dancers vie for prizes. A cool night with a possibility of light rain is currently forecast. 

  DIRECTIONS:  Lola Happy Bistro, 3421 E. Plaza Blvd., National City 91950, is almost a mile east of the 805-Plaza Blvd exit, at the signal-lighted intersection of Plaza Blvd and Manchester Street. We will be in the restaurant with a few regular customers.

An APRIL BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY was at Lola Happy Bistro on this past Thursday night, April 16, 2026, with DJ Bing Villafuerte.  The party was in Lola Happy Bistro, on a mild and dry night.  There were 50 in attendance thanks in part to 8 first-timers.    Here are 6 photos from last Thursday's Dance Party, most were copied from Facebooks:

  LINE DANCING was a favorite.  In the photo above, Roland's Inspiring Dancers performed the line dance "Wishing You All the Best" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=auCYn96swJI ).   In front was Eva. Behind her were Faith and Remy.  Behind them were Irish and Lolit. Mayet and Roland were off to the right.
