Hello Dancers,  
   Well, there will be NO THURSDAY NIGHT DANCE PARTY this coming Thursday July 16th at Lola Happy Bistro, 3421 E. Plaza Blvd., National City 91950, because we reduced the schedule to have dances only for special events, usually every other week.  So, come to the July Birthdays Dance Party on July 23rd, especially if you have a birthday in July. 

  DIRECTIONS:  Lola Happy Bistro, 3421 E. Plaza Blvd., National City 91950, is almost a mile east of the 805-Plaza Blvd exit, at the signal-lighted intersection of Plaza Blvd and Manchester Street. We will be in the restaurant with a few regular customers.

A HAWAIIAN NIGHT DANCE PARTY was at Lola Happy Bistro on this past Thursday night, July 9, 2026, with DJ Bing Villafuerte, on a mild and dry night.   LINE DANCING was a favorite.  In the photo above, Roland's Inspiring Dancers, in Hawaiian attire,  performed a line dance to Aloha Oe Remix ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AGZSeROHAag ).  In this photo we see Jannet, Lolit and Irish near the audience.  Faye, Eva and Geraldine were in the middle line. Roland was near the stage. 

 

 

 "THE FRIENDS" PERFORMED, in the photo above, in Hawaiian attire.   In the line by the audience were Karina and Sheila. Nedy, Angie and Josie were near the stage.  Beth and Rei were hidden. 

 

 

  BALLROOM DANCING was abundant. In the photo above, Ruben and Rossana were dancing to what appears to be a merengue.

DJ Bing will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 9:30pm. Hawaiian-attired dancers vie for prizes. A mild and dry night is currently forecast.

 GROOVE & GLAM PERFORMED, in the photo above, in performance attire. Groove & Glam is a relatively new dance group, and the audience appreciated seeing them again, performing a beautifully choreographed dance in Lola Happy Bistro.  In the line by the audience were Lolit, Mayet, Jean and Beverly. Marie, Faith, Analyn and Irish were nearer the stage.    You are invited to a FILIPINO NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Lola Happy Bistro this coming Thursday June 11th, at Lola Happy Bistro, 3421 E. Plaza Blvd., National City 91950, with the incredible DJ Bing Villafuerte, especially if you have some Filipino attire.  There'll be lots of dancing, fun, and food and beverages on display or off the menu (don't bring any food or beverages - you are urged to buy a dinner, even if you just take it home). DJ Bing will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 9:30pm. Filipino-attired dancers vie for prizes. A mild and dry night is currently forecast. 

  DIRECTIONS:  Lola Happy Bistro, 3421 E. Plaza Blvd., National City 91950, is almost a mile east of the 805-Plaza Blvd exit, at the signal-lighted intersection of Plaza Blvd and Manchester Street. We will be in the restaurant with a few regular customers.

AN ANIMAL PRINTS NIGHT DANCE PARTY was at Lola Happy Bistro on this past Thursday night, May 28, 2026, with DJ Nicke Bascos, on a mild and dry night. There were 65 in attendance, the most so far in 2026, thanks in part to 4 first-timers.  Here are 10 photos from last Thursday's Dance Party, many were copied from Facebooks.

 UPCOMING THURSDAY NIGHTS signs for Thursday nights at Lola Happy Bistro were held by "Ring Girls" Marta, Estrelle, Nora and Hermi, all in animal prints party attire, in the photo above.

 

 

 LINE DANCING was a favorite.  In the photo above, Roland's Inspiring Dancers, in ANIMAL PRINTS party night attire, posed after performing a new line dance called "Rhumbumbumba Line Dance" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RYkNwstyep0 ).  Posing in line were Mayet, Jannette, Geraldine, Remy, Lolit, Irish, Mary Jane, Fe and Faith. Roland and Gody were on the stage.  

 

 

  GROOVE & GLAM PERFORMED, in the photo above, in ANIMAL PRINTS party night attire. Groove & Glam is a relatively new dance group, and the audience appreciated seeing them again, performing a line dance in Lola Happy Bistro.  In the line by the audience were Faith, Irish, Lolit and Mayet.   Beverly, Analyn and Marie were nearer the stage. They were performing "Every Breath You Take" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s6vAEX4-ucI ).

 

 

 

 BALLROOM DANCING was abundant. In the photo above, Irish and Gody were dancing to what appears to be a swing.
