Hello Dancers,  
   You are invited to a HAWAIIAN NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Lola Happy Bistro this coming Thursday July 9th, at Lola Happy Bistro, 3421 E. Plaza Blvd., National City 91950, with the great DJ Bing Villafuerte, especially if you have some Hawaiian attire.  There'll be lots of dancing, fun, and food and beverages on display or off the menu (don't bring any food or beverages - you are urged to buy a dinner, even if you just take it home). DJ Bing will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 9:30pm. Hawaiian-attired dancers vie for prizes. A mild and dry night is currently forecast. 

  DIRECTIONS:  Lola Happy Bistro, 3421 E. Plaza Blvd., National City 91950, is almost a mile east of the 805-Plaza Blvd exit, at the signal-lighted intersection of Plaza Blvd and Manchester Street. We will be in the restaurant with a few regular customers.

A FILIPINO NIGHT DANCE PARTY was at Lola Happy Bistro on this past Thursday night, June 11, 2026, with DJ Bing Villafuerte, on a mild and dry night.   LINE DANCING was a favorite.  In the photo above, Roland's Inspiring Dancers, in performance attire,  performed a line dance called "Awitin Mo, Isasayaw Ko Line Dance" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=POK05EWZC9A ).  In this photo we see Jannette, Irish and Lolit near the audience.  Mary Jane, Geraldine, Fe and Faith were in the middle line.  GROOVE & GLAM PERFORMED, in the photo above, in performance attire. Groove & Glam is a relatively new dance group, and the audience appreciated seeing them again, performing a beautifully choreographed dance in Lola Happy Bistro.  In the line by the audience were Lolit, Mayet, Jean and Beverly. Marie, Faith, Analyn and Irish were nearer the stage.   BALLROOM DANCING was abundant. In the photo above, Josie and Romy were dancing to what appears to be a night club 2-step.

Hello Dancers,  
   Well, there will be NO THURSDAY NIGHT DANCE PARTY this coming Thursday June 4th at Lola Happy Bistro, 3421 E. Plaza Blvd., National City 91950, because we reduced the schedule to have dances only for special events, usually every other week.  So, come to the Filipino Night Dance Party on June 11th, especially if you have some Filipino attire. 

  DIRECTIONS:  Lola Happy Bistro, 3421 E. Plaza Blvd., National City 91950, is almost a mile east of the 805-Plaza Blvd exit, at the signal-lighted intersection of Plaza Blvd and Manchester Street. We will be in the restaurant with a few regular customers.

AN ANIMAL PRINTS NIGHT DANCE PARTY was at Lola Happy Bistro on this past Thursday night, May 28, 2026, with DJ Nicke Bascos, on a mild and dry night. There were 65 in attendance, the most so far in 2026, thanks in part to 4 first-timers.  Here are 10 photos from last Thursday's Dance Party, many were copied from Facebooks.

 UPCOMING THURSDAY NIGHTS signs for Thursday nights at Lola Happy Bistro were held by "Ring Girls" Marta, Estrelle, Nora and Hermi, all in animal prints party attire, in the photo above.

 

 

 LINE DANCING was a favorite.  In the photo above, Roland's Inspiring Dancers, in ANIMAL PRINTS party night attire, posed after performing a new line dance called "Rhumbumbumba Line Dance" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RYkNwstyep0 ).  Posing in line were Mayet, Jannette, Geraldine, Remy, Lolit, Irish, Mary Jane, Fe and Faith. Roland and Gody were on the stage.  

 

 

  GROOVE & GLAM PERFORMED, in the photo above, in ANIMAL PRINTS party night attire. Groove & Glam is a relatively new dance group, and the audience appreciated seeing them again, performing a line dance in Lola Happy Bistro.  In the line by the audience were Faith, Irish, Lolit and Mayet.   Beverly, Analyn and Marie were nearer the stage.  BALLROOM DANCING was abundant. In the photo above, Irish and Gody were dancing to what appears to be a swing.

   You are invited to an ANIMAL PRINTS DANCE PARTY at Lola Happy Bistro this coming Thursday May 28th, at Lola Happy Bistro, 3421 E. Plaza Blvd., National City 91950, with the miraculous DJ Nickie Bascos, especially if you have some animal prints attire.  There'll be lots of dancing, fun, and food and beverages on display or off the menu (don't bring any food or beverages - you are urged to buy a dinner, even if you just take it home). DJ Nickie will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 9:30pm. Animal prints-attired dancers vie for prizes. A mild night with a possibility of light rain is currently forecast.

  THE CAKE.  Lola Happy Bistro provided another delicious chocolate layer cake for the Birthday Party.  It had a cream filling.
