Hello Dancers,  
    Well, there will be NO THURSDAY NIGHT DANCE PARTY this coming Thursday October 22nd, at Lola Happy Bistro, 3421 E. Plaza Blvd., National City 91950, because we reduced the schedule to have dances only for special events, usually every other week.  BUT, be sure to come to the HALLOWEEN NIGHT DANCE PARTY on October 29, 2026, especially if you have a Halloween costume.

  DIRECTIONS:  Lola Happy Bistro, 3421 E. Plaza Blvd., National City 91950, is almost a mile east of the 805-Plaza Blvd exit, at the signal-lighted intersection of Plaza Blvd and Manchester Street. We will be in the restaurant with a few regular customers.

AN OCTOBER BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY was at Lola Happy Bistro on this past Thursday night, October 15, 2026, with DJ Nickie Bascos.  The party was in Lola Happy Bistro, on a mild and dry night.  There were about 60 in attendance, thanks in part to 2 first-timers.  Here are 7 photos from last Thursday's Dance Party, all were copied from Facebooks:

  "THE GLIMMER LADIES" PERFORMED in Lola Happy Bistro - their first time at Lola Happy Bistro.  In the photo above they performed to the song "Señorita Dance With Me" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H-nFetXekXQ ).  In the line by the audience were Zeny, Gody and Lisa.  Behind them were Ellen and Sol.  

 

 

  THE FRIENDS OF CHULA VISTA performed in green blouses. They were line dancing to "I Swing Mo Ako" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gEd28w26JZI ), specially choreographed by Angie.  Closest to the audience were Sheila, Connie and Karina.  Behind them were Nedy, Beth and Angie.  Videos of most performances are on Ric and Connie's Facebook. 

 

 

 "THE FOURTH POWER" PERFORMED again in Lola Happy Bistro.  Line dancing was a favorite all evening, and in the photo above, "The Fourth Power" performed to the energetic song "I'm Your Lady" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rOgiQ4YbYh4 ).  In the line more or less by the audience were Jannet, Lolit and Irish.  Behind them were Eva, Gody, Willie and Faye.

 

 

  BALLROOM DANCING was abundant. In the photo above, Angie and Ver were dancing to what I think was a night club 2-step.

A POLKA DOT NIGHT DANCE PARTY was at Lola Happy Bistro on this past Thursday night, October 1, 2026, with DJ Bing Villafuerte, on a mild and dry night.   The "JOYFUL DANCERS" PERFORMED, in the photo above, dancing to the song "Oohh Lala Baby" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M12F2FAf04g ).  This was the first time that the "Joyful Dancers" performed in one of our Thursday Night Dances, and many of the dancers were 1st-timers at our Thursday Night Dances.

  LINE DANCING was a favorite.  In the photo above, Roland's Inspiring Dancers, in matching POLKA DOT attire,  performed a line dance to "I'm Free Again" line dance ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xotERRxd3Yg ).  In this photo we see Roland and Eva closest to the stage. Jannet, Faye and Irish were in the middle line.  Lolit (mostly hidden) and Merely were closest to the audience.

AN ARABIAN NIGHT DANCE PARTY was at Lola Happy Bistro on this past Thursday night, September 3, 2026, with DJ Bing Villafuerte, on a mild and dry night. There were just over 50 in attendance, thanks in part to 1 first-timer.  Here are 7 photos from last Thursday's Dance Party, most were copied from Facebooks.

  UPCOMING THURSDAY NIGHTS signs for Thursday nights at Lola Happy Bistro were held by "Ring Girls" Estrelle, Eden (who hadn't been to Thursday night dancing in over a year), Eva and Faye, in the photo above.
