Hello Dancers,  
    Well, there will be NO THURSDAY NIGHT DANCE PARTY this coming Thursday September 24th, at Lola Happy Bistro, 3421 E. Plaza Blvd., National City 91950, because we reduced the schedule to have dances only for special events, usually every other week.  BUT, be sure to come to the POLKA DOT NIGHT DANCE PARTY on October 1, 2026, especially if you have some polka dotted attire.

  DIRECTIONS:  Lola Happy Bistro, 3421 E. Plaza Blvd., National City 91950, is almost a mile east of the 805-Plaza Blvd exit, at the signal-lighted intersection of Plaza Blvd and Manchester Street. We will be in the restaurant with a few regular customers.

A SEPTEMBER BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY was at Lola Happy Bistro on this past Thursday night, September 17, 2026, with DJ Nickie Bascos.  The party was in Lola Happy Bistro, on a mild and dry night.  There were about 65 in attendance, thanks in part to 7 first-timers and 6 who had not been to Thursday night dancing in over a year.  Here are 7 photos from last Thursday's Dance Party, almost all were copied from Facebooks:

  THE FRIENDS OF CHULA VISTA performed in pretty red and white attire. They were line dancing to "Mr. Kupido" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Q9J0Iuu-fY ), specially choreographed by Angie.  Closest to the audience were Beth, Angie and Connie.  Near the stage were Rei, Belen, Nedy and Josie.  Videos of the performance are on the Thursday Night Dancers Facebook. 

 

 

  ROLAND'S INSPIRING DANCERS PERFORMED LINE DANCING.  Line dancing was a favorite all evening.  In the photo above, Roland's Inspiring Dancers performed the line dance "Play Me Once" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vG670lwSXrE ).  In the line by the stage were Faye, Roland and Merely.  In the middle line were Jannet, Eva and Geraldine.  Lolit and Irish were dancing near the audience. 

 

 

  THE BIRTHDAY CAKE in the photo above was delicious.

AN ARABIAN NIGHT DANCE PARTY was at Lola Happy Bistro on this past Thursday night, September 3, 2026, with DJ Bing Villafuerte, on a mild and dry night. A CARIBBEAN NIGHT DANCE PARTY was at Lola Happy Bistro on this past Thursday night, August 6, 2026, with DJ Bing Villafuerte, on a mild and dry night.
