You are invited to a HALLOWEEN NIGHT DANCE PARTY this Thursday October 31, 2019, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, beverages, and prizes for best Halloween attire. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation. Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. The miraculous DJ Nickie Bascos will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm.
DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive. Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive. The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.
Last Thursday (October 24th) was a great 50's & 60's DANCE PARTY at Eastlake. Thanks in part to some first-timers, there were about 40 dancers enjoying the music of DJ Bing Villafuerte, as you can see in the 7 photos below.

THURSDAY October 24, 2019, DANCE PARTY at Eastlake:
BY THE LAKE, some early birds posed. Above, we see Edith, Rick, Pat and DJ Bing. Daylight Saving Time ends soon, so lakeside photos may soon end for the year. Rick & Pat later won Best Attired Couple.

Mel Paiste brought sotanghon with patela and shrimp. Nick & Eden brought munggo, quiche, pastry pops and rice. Karina brought bibinka. Jovie brought spicy chicken wings. Rosie brought longaniza and rice. Estrelle brought menudo and rice. Rosa brought turon. Minda brought banana muffins and creme cakes. Rei and Mark brought suman, bibinka and watermelon. Carmen brought kutsinta and cookies. Geraldine brought bilo bilo dessert. Pat E brought banana bread. Josie & Romy brought banana bread. Rick & Pat brought beverages. Juliette brought sugar cookies. And, there was more.

BALLROOM and LINE DANCING alternated until 10pm. In the photo above, Ralph and Nedy were dancing to "Satisfy My Soul".
THE "FIRST COUPLE", Nick and Eden were the first 50's and 60's Night best attire winners.

BALLROOM and DANCING alternated until 10pm. In the photo above, Phil and Elma were dancing to the swing, "All Night Long (D.I.S.C.O.)". Phil, who is also a dance instructor, gave West Coast Swing lessons to dancers early in the night.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Belen. In the photo above copied from Nedy's Facebook, Nina and Rei had surprised Belen with a cake. Then, everyone sang Happy Birthday for Belen.

Last Thursday (October 10th) was a great OCTOBER BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY and DELFINA-2020 NIGHT at Eastlake. Thanks in part to SEVEN first-timers (!!!), and Delfina and her dancers, there were 45 dancers enjoying the music of DJ Bing Villafuerte. Besides dancers, there were another dozen or so of Delfina's election campaign people, as you can see in the 5 photos below.

OUTSIDE ON THE PATIO, tables were set up for the first time for overflow and for Delfina's campaign event. Delfina is a candidate to be on the Chula Vista City Council. ELVIS SANG "All Shook Up" in the photo above, more-or-less for the birthday celebrants, with Elvis's back-up dancers surrounding him.
BALLROOM and LINE DANCING alternated until 10pm. In the photo above, near closing time, Mel Zaragoza and Dolly were dancing to the boogie, "Love Shack", while DJ Bing Villafuerte led some line dancers in the Love Shack Line Dance.
