After a week off for an enjoyable Thanksgiving, dancers come back this Thursday November 30, 2017, for a COWBOY & WESTERN NIGHT dance party at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be prizes for best western attire, lots of dancing, fun, food and beverages. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation. Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. DJ Bing Villafuerte will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm.

FLASHBACK to LAST YEAR's (NOV. 17, 2016) WESTERN NIGHT at EASTLAKE:
LINE DANCING last year was non stop from 6 until 7pm, and then intermittently until 10. Above, DJ Bing was teaching line dancers a new one, "Si Tu Me Vas", with Edith, Eden, Rei and 1st-timer Elma in the front line.
BALLROOM. We guys preferred ballroom dancing. Above, we see cowboy Lito and cowgirl Neriza were dancing to "Blue Tango".

Last Thursday (November 16th) was the STRIPES NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, with about 35 happy dancers enjoying DJ Bing Villafuerte's music, as you can see in the 5 photos below. THURSDAY NOVEMBER 16, 2017, Stripes Night Dance Party at Eastlake:
LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6 to 7pm, and off & on the rest of the night. Above, Edith, Rei and Zeny were more-or-less in the front line dancing to "Do You Remember (September)", with a version new to Thursday night dancers.
FOOD LINE. Above, Nina was ready to give a blessing for the food. Here's a "Thank You", and some credits for so much food. Nick & Eden brought spaghetti & meatballs. Geraldine brought arroz caldo. Beth brought sweet banana dessert. Nedy brought arroz caldo. Karina brought banana bread. Cindy brought dessert cakes. Rei brought salad. Estrelle & Rosa brought chicken sandwiches. Sheila brought buko pandan (a coconut dessert). Ralph brought baked chicken. Medy brought sotanghon soup. Nene brought puto kutsinta. And, there was more.
BALLROOM. We guys preferred the ballroom dances. Above, Stripes Night winners Eva and Dwayne danced to the tango "La Cumparsita".

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive. Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive. The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

FOOD LINE. Above, Nedy prepared to give a blessing for the food. Here's a "Thank You", and some credits. Nick & Eden brought baby back spare ribs adobo, clam chowder, fried rice and corn. Geraldine brought fried sweet potatoes. Beth brought fruits. Mel (not the DJ, but the other Mel) brought seaweed salad. Nedy brought sotanghong. Suzanne brought delicious turkey chili. Karina brought buko pandan salad. Neriza brought crispy pata. Cindy brought beautiful little cheesecakes. And, there was more.
BALLROOM DANCING. We guys preferred the ballroom dances. Above, DJ Nickie and Aurea were dancing to the tango "Sognando Angelica".
