FILIPINO NIGHT DANCE PARTY at EASTLAKE this Thursday June 9, 2016
OK Party People,
Let's celebrate or commemorate Philippine Independence Day with a FILIPINO NIGHT DANCE PARTY this Thursday night June 9, 2016, at Eastlake I's Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be complementary snacks and beverages, and some Prizes for the best Filipino outfits. So, dig out whatever traditional or non-traditional Filipino clothing you have. From 6pm-10pm the spectacular DJ Bing will play swing, cha cha, rumba, and much more - and of course - LINE DANCING - which is non-stop from 6-7pm. A $5 donation will be requested. It'll be a FUN "private party" and this is your invitation. Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. DIRECTIONS: Take the H Street East to Eastlake Drive. Go right one block, then right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into parking lot - the Beach Club is behind the the gated fence.
Last Thursday June 2, 2016, DJ Bing played to over 25 rollicking dancers at Eastlake. The following seven photos below tell part of the story - plus 2 photos from the 2015 Filipino Night. (Note: If the following 9 photos do not appear when you look at this email, click the words at the top of this email that say something like "Show images which are still blocked to protect your privacy" - I already know who you are):
THURSDAY NIGHT AT EASTLAKE (JUNE 2, 2016):
FOOD. Estella, Beth and Myrna are in front of the food line. Once again Nick & Eden brought something great: homemade chicken noodle soup and rolls. Nina, Gigi, Belen and Rei brought a big dessert tray and banana bread. Beth brought a fruit tray. There were chili dogs and much more.
LINE DANCING was was non-stop from 6pm-7pm. Then, periodically until 10pm. Above Rei, Beth and Gigi were in the front line dancing to "Hurts So Good".
BALLROOM. We guys preferred the ballroom dances. Above, Nick & Eden were dancing to the bachata "No Me Entendio".
MORE LINE DANCING, this time to "Africa Boom Boom" it was Nedy, DJ Bing and Eva in the front line.
PICTURES. Millions of photos were taken again. Above, many ladies lined up for a group photo, with Eva, Estella and Eden in front.
CHA CHA. Above, Myrna, Linda and Aida were happily dancing to the cha cha "Smooth".
CUMBIA. Above, I got to dance with Estella to a cumbia.
JUNE 2015:

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties. This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego. While the dancing is continuous, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance. Hmmm - I bet the simultaneous instructions while others are dancing make these, for example, the best free bachata dancing lessons in San Diego.
