Last Thursday (Apr. 23rd) DJ Bing played to about 45 dancers at the Joint.  There was a lot going on, and the following 6 photos tell a bit of the story.        (Note: If the following 6 photos do not appear when you look at this email, click the words at the top of this email that say something like "Show images which are still blocked to protect your privacy" - I already know who you are):

THURSDAY NIGHT AT POINT POINT JOINT (APRIL 23, 2015):

Dancers had fun with lots of line dances, including non-stop from 6 to 7pm.   Around 9pm "Carinito" packed the floor.  Nedy, Gloria and Medy were in front on the photo above.

Early in the night, DJ Bing danced a bachata with Solly.

A little later, Beth danced a night club 2-step with Mike.

Tito and Nedy enjoyed dancing to "Baila Esta Cumbia".

There were some tango dancers.  Josie and Lito looked good dancing to "Blue Tango".

When it was closing time - there was still time for one more line dance.  And it was "Blurred Lines", with two Ediths in front.

It's a fun dance party most every Thursday night at Point Point Joint with line dances and ballroom dances like swing including Manila Swing (also known as 4-count hustle or Philippine swing or Filipino swing), cha cha, night club 2-step, tango and much much more.  For this week's Dance Party on Thursday (April 30, 2015), Point Point Joint Restaurant, 916 E. 8th Street, National City, as usual will offer their special price of $10 for 2-entree dinner plus drink for Thursday Night dancers.

Here's the plan for the next few weeks at Point Point (assuming DJ Mel is still in Europe):

Thursday  April 30, 2015  6-10pm, DJ Bing Villafuerte

Thursday  May 7, 2015  6-10pm, DJ Bing Villafuerte, MEXICAN NIGHT (2 days after Cinco De Mayo)

Thursday  May 14, 2015  6-10pm, DJ Bing Villafuerte

Thursday  May 21, 2015  6-10pm, DJ Bing Villafuerte

See you on the dance floor,

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego - they are private parties, and this is your invitation to members of the email group to enjoy dancing in Point Point Joint Restaurant, a mere four miles from downtown San Diego.  While the dancing is continuous, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.  Hmmm - I bet the simultaneous instructions while others are dancing make these, for example, the best line dancing lessons in San Diego - well, OK, second only to Tuesday night's "Turo Turo Gang" dancing at Point Point.

A week later, on May 6, 2010, it was DJ Julius (aka John Llaneta) playing for the dancers.

Also on May 6, 2010, Joel & Florita danced.  Now in 2015 they are moving to the Philippines.  We'll miss them.

May 6, 2010, featured a birthday party for Cindy in the Jestoni Club.  Above Cindy was having a rose dance with Leo.

Well, it's now April 2015, and we're still having fun dance parties most every Thursday night - now at Point Point Joint - with line dances and ballroom dances like swing including Manila Swing (also known as 4-count hustle or Philippine swing or Filipino swing), cha cha, night club 2-step, tango and much much more.  For this week's Dance Party on Thursday (April 9, 2015), Point Point Joint Restaurant, 916 E. 8th Street, National City, as usual will offer their special price of $10 for 2-entree dinner plus drink for Thursday Night dancers.
