DANCE PARTY at Eastlake Thursday August 3, 2023

Hello Dancers,  

    You are invited to a DANCE PARTY this Thursday August 3, 2023, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, and beverages. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share.  The spectacular DJ Bing Villafuerte will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm.  A mild and dry night is currently forecast.  

 DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

A HAWAIIAN NIGHT DANCE PARTY was at Eastlake last Thursday, July 27th, with DJ Bing Villafuerte, on a warm night.  There were just over 50 in attendance.  Here are 6 photos - all are copied from the posts on Facebook:

 BALLROOM DANCING was plentiful on Hawaiian Night.  In the photo above, Rei and Mark enjoyed dancing to what appears to be a night-club two-step.

 BALLROOM DANCING was plentiful.  In the photo photo above, I got to enjoy dancing with Eden to the popular cumbia "Nunca Es Suficiente" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k76BgIb89-s ).  Eden can sing it even better than me.

 

 

  BIRTHDAY CAKE.  Well, there were 3 cakes, but the biggest cake in the photo above was baked by Veronica.  It was a delicious chocolate cake featuring chocolate fencing, strawberries, and a mousse filling.

THE BJV ZUMBA DANCERS danced a Zumba Medley ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-QKnxVOPOIk ).  They were Janet in front, with Nida, Edna, May and Josie.

 

 

 

THE EASTLAKE LINE DANCING SUPERWOMEN performed their award-winning dance, "Holding Out For A Hero".  They had won top prize at Dance-A-Thon on June 24th at the Scottish Rite Temple in San Diego. In the photo above, Faith is in front, followed by Mayethe, Lolit and Michelle.

 

 

 EDITH GAVE CONGRATULATIONS and thanks to the Eastlake Superwomen Line Dancers after Roland introduced them.  In the photo above they were Faith, Beverly, Michelle, Joanne, Irish, Belinda, Lolit, Delia and Mayethe.

 

 

BALLROOM DANCING was plentiful.  In Nedy's selfie photo above, Eden and Ruben were enjoying dancing to a boogie.

 

 

 BELINDA'S BIRTHDAY was celebrated.  In the photo above, Belinda was getting ready to enjoy a cake baked by Delia, a chocolate cake with banana cream filling.

While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
