Thursday Night Dance in Old Town - May 26, 2016

Hello Dancers,

Thursday Night Dancers will go back to the Old Town Community Church, 2444 Congress Street, San Diego, for the 2nd time this Thursday May 26, 2016.  There'll be snacks and beverages.  A $5 donation will be requested.  It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share.  DJ Bing will play line dances 6pm-7pm, followed by mixed ballroom and line dancing until 10pm.  DIRECTIONS:  Take I-5 to Old Town Avenue.  Go about 2 blocks towards Old Town (i.e., east towards hill) to San Diego Avenue (a signal lighted intersection) and turn left.  Go a block and make a slight left at a Y-intersection onto Congress Street. The church (2444 Congress St) is on the right, 2 blocks ahead.

Parking Lot Entrance is around the corner on Conde Street.  If you are early enough, there'll still be parking in the church parking lot, or along the entrance driveway, next to the church parsonage.  Otherwise, park on the surrounding streets.

LAST THURSDAY's DANCE PARTY, May 19, 2016 - DJ Bing played for almost 30 joyous dancers.  Food galore including chili dogs from Nick and Eden, corn from Beth, boiled peanuts from Belen, watermelon from Rei, and much more.  The six photos below show part of the fun night.   (Note: If the following 6 photos do not appear when you look at this email, click the words at the top of this email that say something like "Show images which are still blocked to protect your privacy" - I already know who you are):

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego.  While the dancing is continuous, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.  Hmmm - I bet the simultaneous instructions while others are dancing make these, for example, the best free merengue dancing lessons in San Diego.

(2)  You can click on Links to many YouTube MUSIC VIDEOS and other websites that are mentioned in this email (the links are colored like this of "I Like It").  You can get more info at websites like: this email group's Home Page and Upcoming Events.
