OCTOBER BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY at Eastlake This Thursday October 10, 2019

Hello Dancers,   

 You are invited to an OCTOBER BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY this Thursday October 10, 2019, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, cake, beverages, and balloons and roses for birthday ladies. Plus, there'll be an election campaign event for Delfina Gonzales, who is a candidate for the Chula Vista City Council. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. The marvelous DJ Bing Villafuerte will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm. 

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

Last Thursday (October 3rd) was a great ARABIAN NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake.  Thanks in part to Nickie's Angels, there were over 40 dancers enjoying the music of DJ Nickie Bascos, as you can see in the 10 photos below.

THURSDAY October 10, 2019, OCTOBER BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY at Eastlake:

BY THE LAGOON.  Leslie and Pat posed by the lagoon, about 3 hours before they were honored as Best Arabian Night Attire couple. 

LOVELY LADIES BY THE LAKE.  Above, by Eastlake, it was Estrelle, Nene, Nedy, and Pat E in a selfie from Nedy's Facebook.

LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6 - 7pm, and off & on until 10.  Above, dancing to "Let's Get Loud", it was Edith and Nedy in the front line, more or less. 

GROUP PHOTO BEFORE FOOD. Dancers posed for the photo above before eating. Here's a "Thank You", and credits for delicious food.  Estrelle brought fried rice. Nedy brought salad. Mel Paiste brought pancit sotanghon with patola and shrimp. Carmen brought lots of fruits. Geraldine and Romi brought spaghetti. Josie brought watermelon. Pat E brought cookies. Nick & Eden brought chicken adobo and rice. Nene brought puto. Karina brought polvorons (dessert). And, there was more.

BALLROOM DANCING alternated with line dancing from 7 - 10pm.  In the photo above, Mel Zaragoza and Janette were dancing to the tango, "Hernando's Hideaway". 

MERENGUE.  And, in the photo above first-timer Nena let me dance with her to a merengue.

DJ NICKIE BASCOS kept the dance music playing all night.

ARABIAN NIGHT BEST ATTIRED WINNING COUPLES were Leslie & Pat and DJ Nickie & Aurea.  Plus, Mel Zaragoza and Judge Edith.

ARABIAN NIGHT BEST ATTIRED WINNING LADIES - well, most of them - were Nedy, Pat E, Myrna, Estrelle, Nene, Janette, Beth, Virgie, Geraldine, Karina, and Eden.

Thursday, October 31, 2019:  HALLOWEEN NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. Prizes for best attire. DJ Nickie Bascos.


  It's a fun dance party most Thursday nights with line dances and ballroom dances like swing including cha cha, night club 2-step, rumba and much much more.

Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego.  While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
