DANCE PARTY at Eastlake This Thursday October 17, 2019

Hello Dancers,   

 You are invited to a DANCE PARTY this Thursday October 17, 2019, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, and beverages. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. The wonderful DJ Mel Zaragoza will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm. 

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

Last Thursday (October 10th) was a great OCTOBER BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY and DELFINA-2020 NIGHT at Eastlake.  Thanks in part to SEVEN first-timers (!!!), and Delfina and her dancers, there were 45 dancers enjoying the music of DJ Bing Villafuerte. Besides dancers, there were another dozen or so of Delfina's election campaign people, as you can see in the 5 photos below.

THURSDAY October 10, 2019, OCTOBER BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY at Eastlake:

OUTSIDE ON THE PATIO, tables were set up for the first time for overflow and for Delfina's campaign event.  Delfina is a candidate to be on the Chula Vista City Council.  Nene and Nedy posed on the patio, in a selfie copied from Nedy's Facebook. GROUP PHOTO BEFORE FOOD. Dancers posed for the photo above before eating, some with Delfina's campaign posters. Here's a "Thank You", and credits for delicious food.  Nedy brought pancit and rice. Mel Paiste brought pancit canton. Carmen brought banana fritters and puto pao.  Geraldine brought beef embutido and pork jamonado. Josie brought leche flan. Nick & Eden brought chili dogs. Karina brought dessert. Connie & Rick brought cheese and crackers. Delfina and Ray brought chicken, chips & salsa and tortillas. Jovie brought mango and macaroons. Rosie brought fruits salads. Sheila brought food. Bernie brought chicken.  And, there was more.

BIRTHDAY PARTY was held for October birthday celebrants, Rosie, Nedy, Bernie, Sheila and Geraldine, who posed in the photo above near a fabulous Birthday Cake made by Myra (Veronica). 

ELVIS SANG  "All Shook Up" in the photo above, more-or-less for the birthday celebrants, with Elvis's back-up dancers surrounding him. 

BALLROOM and LINE DANCING alternated until 10pm.  In the photo above, near closing time, Mel Zaragoza and Dolly were dancing to the boogie, "Love Shack", while DJ Bing Villafuerte led some line dancers in the Love Shack Line Dance.

Thursday, October 31, 2019:  HALLOWEEN NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. Prizes for best attire. DJ Nickie Bascos.



Thursday, November 7, 2019: DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. DJ Bing Villafuerte.


  It's a fun dance party most Thursday nights with line dances and ballroom dances like swing including cha cha, night club 2-step, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego.  While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
