HALLOWEEN DANCE PARTY at Eastlake This Thursday October 31, 2019

Hello Dancers,   

 You are invited to a HALLOWEEN NIGHT DANCE PARTY this Thursday October 31, 2019, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, beverages, and prizes for best Halloween attire. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. The miraculous DJ Nickie Bascos will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm. 

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

Last Thursday (October 24th) was a great 50's & 60's DANCE PARTY at Eastlake.  Thanks in part to some first-timers, there were about 40 dancers enjoying the music of DJ Bing Villafuerte, as you can see in the 7 photos below.

THURSDAY October 24, 2019, DANCE PARTY at Eastlake:

BY THE LAKE, some early birds posed.  Above, we see Edith, Rick, Pat and DJ Bing.  Daylight Saving Time ends soon, so lakeside photos may soon end for the year.  Rick & Pat later won Best Attired Couple.

GROUP PHOTO BEFORE FOOD. Dancers posed for the photo above before eating. Here is a big "THANK YOU" to people who brought delicious food.  Nedy brought food. Mel Paiste brought sotanghon with patela and shrimp.  Nick & Eden brought munggo, quiche, pastry pops and rice. Karina brought bibinka. Jovie brought spicy chicken wings. Rosie brought longaniza and rice.  Estrelle brought menudo and rice. Rosa brought turon. Minda brought banana muffins and creme cakes.  Rei and Mark brought suman, bibinka and watermelon. Carmen brought kutsinta and cookies.  Geraldine brought bilo bilo dessert. Pat E brought banana bread. Josie & Romy brought banana bread.  Rick & Pat brought beverages.  Juliette brought sugar cookies.  And, there was more.

LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6 to 7pm.  In the photo above, dancers were dancing the waltz line dance to the music of "Les Bicyclettes de Belsize", in a photo copied from Nedy's Facebook.  More in the Eastlake Thursday Facebook.

BALLROOM and LINE DANCING alternated until 10pm.  In the photo above, Ralph and Nedy were dancing to "Satisfy My Soul".  

THE "FIRST COUPLE", Nick and Eden were the first 50's and 60's Night best attire winners.

BEST ATTIRED WINNERS in the 50's & 60's category posed for photographers.

70's ATTIRED were also recognized.  Geraldine, Carmen, Rosa, Nene and Loretta posed for the photo above.

Thursday, November 21, 2019:  STRIPES NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. Prizes for best attire. DJ Nickie Bascos.



  It's a fun dance party most Thursday nights with line dances and ballroom dances like swing including cha cha, night club 2-step, rumba and much much more.

Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego.  While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
