DANCE PARTY at Eastlake This Thursday November 7, 2019

Hello Dancers,   

 You are invited to a DANCE PARTY this Thursday November 7, 2019, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, and beverages. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. The incredible DJ Bing Villafuerte will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm. 

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

Last Thursday (October 31st) was a great HALLOWEEN NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake.  Thanks in part to Nickie's Angels and two first-timers, there were about 40 dancers enjoying the music of DJ Nickie Bascos, as you can see in the 11 photos below.

THURSDAY November 31, 2019, HALLOWEEN NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake:

BY THE LAKE, ONE LAST TIME in the sun in 2019, because with the end of Daylight Saving Time today, the sun now sets about 5pm. Anyway, above, we see Cheryl and Edith with Vangie and Pat in their winning costumes by the lake.   

GROUP PHOTO BEFORE FOOD. Dancers, many in Halloween costumes, posed for this photo above before eating. Here is a big "THANK YOU" to people who brought delicious food.  Nedy and Rod brought chili. Mel Paiste brought sotanghon with patola and shrimp.  Nick & Eden brought spare rib sinigang and rice. Estrelle brought egg salad sandwiches. Rosa brought turon. Pat E brought food.  Connie & Rick brought siopao. Nina brought summon.  Beth brought fruits.  Del & Rick brought cupcakes and brownies.  Loretta brought triangular pastries.  Myra brought cream cakes.  Faride brought candies. And, there was more.

LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6 to 7pm.  In the photo above, Nene was in front of line dancers, in a photo copied from the EastLake Shore Thursday Dance Group Facebook posted by Rick and Connie. DJ NICKIE played the great dance music all evening.

BALLROOM and LINE DANCING alternated until 10pm.  In the photo above, Sailor Eden and Phil were dancing to the night club 2-step "Help Me Make It Through the Night". 

THE "FIRST COUPLE", Nick and Eden were the first Halloween Night best attire winners.

LUIGO CARRIED BING in the photo above.  They got a special award.

BEST ATTIRED COUPLES posed for photographers.  DJ Nickie & Aurea, Leslie & Pat, and Connie & Rick (who was busy taking photos), posed with Judge Edith.

BEST ATTIRED WOMEN were all in Halloween costumes. They posed for the photo above with Judge Edith.  Several prizes were provided by Josie.

Thursday, November 21, 2019:  STRIPES NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. Prizes for best attire. DJ Nickie Bascos.



Thursday, November 28, 2019:  NO DANCE.  It's Thanksgiving.


  It's a fun dance party most Thursday nights with line dances and ballroom dances like swing including cha cha, night club 2-step, rumba and much much more.

Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego.  While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
