SEPTEMBER BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY (in white clothing) at Eastlake This Thursday September 12, 2019

Hello Dancers,   

 You are invited to a SEPTEMBER BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY this Thursday September 12, 2019, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista, in WHITE CLOTHING per Nina's request. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, cake, beverages, and balloons and roses for birthday ladies. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. The phenomenal DJ Bing Villafuerte will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm. 

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

Last Thursday (September 5th) was a great DANCE PARTY at Eastlake.  Thanks in part to Nickie's Angels, there were over 40 dancers enjoying the music of DJ Nickie Bascos, as you can see in the 5 photos below.

THURSDAY September 5, 2019, DANCE PARTY at Eastlake:

LOVELY LADIES BY THE LAKE.  Above, by Eastlake, it was Nina, Nedy, Nene, Myrna, Pat E, and Estrelle in a selfie from Nedy's Facebook.

LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6 - 7pm, and off & on until 10.  Above, dancing to "Kiss Me Quick", it was Nickie's Angels with Aurea and Virgie in front, more or less. "Kiss Me Quick" is a new line dance at Eastlake, and the recording (by Elvis) is one of my all-time favorites, so I will learn this easy line dance. 

GROUP PHOTO BEFORE FOOD. Dancers posed for the photo above before eating. Here's a "Thank You", and credits for delicious food. Nick & Eden brought apretada. Estrelle brought fried rice. Nedy brought food. Mel Paiste brought pancit sotanghon and seaweed salad. Rick brought beverages. Beth brought chicken. Rei brought salad and puto pao. Nene brought kunchinta. Belen brought suman. Carmen brought kunchinta. Pat E brought grapes. Ralph brought chicken. And, there was more.

BALLROOM DANCING alternated with line dancing from 7 - 10pm.  In the photo above, Bert Alota and Heidi were dancing to the tango, "Sognare Angelica".

DJ NICKIE BASCOS had a nice light show.

Thursday, September 26, 2019: DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. DJ Bing Villafuerte.



Thursday, October 3, 2019:  ARABIAN NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. Prizes for best attire. DJ Nickie Bascos.



  It's a fun dance party most Thursday nights with line dances and ballroom dances like swing including cha cha, night club 2-step, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego.  While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
