DANCE PARTY at Eastlake This Thursday September 26, 2019

Hello Dancers,   

 You are invited to a DANCE PARTY this Thursday September 26, 2019, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, and beverages. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. The adorable DJ Bing Villafuerte will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm. 

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

Last Thursday (September 19th) was a great POLKA DOT NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake.  Thanks to many ladies in polka dot attire, there were about 35 dancers enjoying the music of DJ Mel Zaragoza, as you can see in the 7 photos below.

THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 19, 2019, POLKA DOT NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake:

POSE BEFORE FOOD TIME. Dancers posed for the photo above before eating. Here's a "Thank You", and credits for delicious food. Nick & Eden brought chicken pinola and rice.  Estrelle brought arroz caldo. Nedy brought salad. Mel Paiste brought pancit sotanghon with patola and shrimp. Rick brought beverages. Rei and Belen brought ube suman, puto pao and salad. Carmen brought arroz caldo and salad. Geraldine and Romi brought fruits. Josie brought watermelon. Connie & Rick brought tuna sandwiches. Pat E brought apretada. Ralph brought hopie. Rosa brought turon. And, there was more.

DJ MEL in the photo above, played great dance music all evening.

BALLROOM DANCING alternated with line dancing from 7 - 10pm.  In the photo above, it was Rick and Connie dancing to the rumba "Today".  

POLKA-DOTTED BUNNIES appear in the photo above, and were seen only in the Thursday Night Eastlake Dancers Facebook, from which I copied this photo.

BEST POLKA DOT NIGHT ATTIRE WINNERS - well this photo has most of them. Evelyn, Myrna, Belen, Pat E, Nene, Neriza, Rosa, Estrelle, Nedy and Terry.

Thursday, October 10, 2019:  OCTOBER BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. Roses for ladies and balloons for celebrants. Plus, an election campaign event for Delfina, who is a candidate for the Chula Vista City Council.  DJ Bing Villafuerte.



Thursday, October 17, 2019: DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. DJ Mel Zaragoza.


  It's a fun dance party most Thursday nights with line dances and ballroom dances like swing including cha cha, night club 2-step, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego.  While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
