DANCE PARTY at Eastlake This Thursday September 5, 2019

Hello Dancers,   

 You are invited to a DANCE PARTY this Thursday September 5, 2019, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, and beverages. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. The incredible DJ Nickie Bascos will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm. 

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

Last Thursday (August 29th) was a great SHORTS & BEACH PARTY NIGHT DANCE at Eastlake.  Thanks to many ladies in colorful shorts & beach attire, there were about 25 dancers enjoying the music of DJ Bing Villafuerte, as you can see in the 6 photos below.

THURSDAY August 29, 2019, SHORTS & BEACH PARTY NIGHT DANCE at Eastlake:

ON THE BEACH.  Above, on the beach by Eastlake, it was our sponsor for the night, Rick, along with Edith and Myrna.

POSE BEFORE FOOD TIME. Dancers posed for the photo above before eating. Here's a "Thank You", and credits for delicious food. Nick & Eden brought spaghetti, asparagus, and fruits. Estrelle brought chicken sandwiches. Nedy brought salad. Mel Paiste brought barbecued eggplant with tomatoes. Rick brought beverages. Beth brought fried peanuts. Karina brought chicken sandwiches. Sheila brought a pie. Jovie brought chicken sliders. Rei brought salad. Rosa brought food. Nene brought puto. Belen brought ube suman. And, there was more.

BALLROOM DANCING alternated with line dancing from 7 - 10pm.  In the photo above, it was Mel Paiste dancing with Pat E to a bachata, I think.  

LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6 to 7pm, then off & on until closing time.   In the photo above from Nedy's Facebook, the ladies were dancing to "Que Maravilla," I think.

JUDGES POSED.  In the photo above, it was Eden, Myrna and Edith preparing to announce the Best Shorts & Beach attire winners.

Thursday, September 19, 2019:  POLKA DOT NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. Prizes for best attire. DJ Mel Zaragoza.


Thursday, September 26, 2019: DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. DJ TBD.



  It's a fun dance party most Thursday nights with line dances and ballroom dances like swing including cha cha, night club 2-step, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego.  While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
