POLKA DOT NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake This Thursday September 19, 2019

Hello Dancers,   

 You are invited to a POLKA DOT NIGHT DANCE PARTY this Thursday September 19, 2019, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, beverages, and prizes for best Polka Dot attire. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. The fabulous DJ Mel Zaragoza will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm. 

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

Last Thursday (September 12th) was a great SEPTEMBER BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY at Eastlake.  Thanks in part to good weather, an "all white attire", Veronica's great birthday cake, Afro-Elvis, and DANCESATION's Bert & Lennie Velasco, there were over 40 dancers enjoying the music of DJ Bing Villafuerte, as you can see in the 6 photos below.

THURSDAY September 12, 2019, SEPTEMBER BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY at Eastlake:

STANDING BY THE LAKE, mostly in white.  Above, also by Eastlake, it was our host & sponsor for the night, Rick, along with Pat, Nina, Edith and Lilly. 

GROUP PHOTO BEFORE FOOD. Dancers posed for photos before eating. Here's a "Thank You", and credits for a LOT of delicious food. Nick & Eden brought higado, pinakbet, rice, turon and maha blanca. Nedy brought peanuts. Mel Paiste brought pancit sotanghon with patola and shrimp. Rick brought beverages. Beth brought sotanghon soup. Rei and Belen brought ukoy and suman. Nene brought gatang langka, leche flan and leche puto. Carmen brought pancit. Veronica brought a multi-layered birthday cake. Lilly brought banana puto.  Bert & Lennie Velasco brought dinuguan. Geraldine brought laing. Josie brought cassava cake. Nina brought rice.  Connie & Rick brought chicken & cheese rolled sandwiches. Marilyn brought fruit salad. And, there was more.

BALLROOM DANCING alternated with line dancing from 7 - 10pm.  In the photo above, Bert and Lennie Velasco of DANCESATION were dancing to the cha cha, "Oye Como Va".  LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6 - 7pm. 

BIRTHDAY CELEBRANTS, in the photo above from Nedy's Facebook, Marilyn, Rod, Lennie, Nina, Eden, Nene, Aida and Marta, looked at the big delicious birthday cake that was provided by Veronica.

SPECIAL APPEARANCE BY AFRO-ELVIS.  Surrounded by dancing ladies, Afro-Elvis Romy was singing "All Shook Up". in the photo above.  He also sang 2 other songs.

Thursday, October 10, 2019:  OCTOBER BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. Roses for ladies and balloons for celebrants. Plus, an election campaign event for Delfina, who is a candidate for the Chula Vista City Council.  DJ Bing Villafuerte.



  It's a fun dance party most Thursday nights with line dances and ballroom dances like swing including cha cha, night club 2-step, rumba and much much more.

Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego.  While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
