DANCE PARTY at Eastlake This Thursday January 3, 2019

Hello Dancers,   

 You are invited to Welcome 2019 at a DANCE PARTY this Thursday January 3, 2019, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, and beverages. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. The great DJ Nickie Bascos will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm. 

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

Last Thursday (December 27th) was a festive NEW YEAR MASQUERADE PARTY DANCE at Eastlake.  Thanks in part to visiting DANCESATION Stars, and some of Nickie's Angels, there were about 30 dancers enjoying the music of DJ Nickie Bascos, as you can see in the 5 photos below.

THURSDAY DECEMBER 27, 2018, NEW YEAR MASQUERADE PARTY DANCE at Eastlake:

LINE DANCING  was non-stop from 6pm - 7pm, and then off & on until 10. In the photo above, Nina and Edith are in the front line, more or less, during the line dance, "Despacito". 

POSE BEFORE FOOD TIME. Dancers posed for a photo before eating.  Here's a "Thank You", and some credits for very delicious food. Nick & Eden brought chicken apretada, leche flan and rice. Geraldine brought tamales and arroz caldo. Beth brought banana dessert. Divine and Larry brought macaroni salad. Nene brought Korean noodles. Karina brought sliders. Sheila brought grapes and mini Eclaires. Rei brought salad and purple yam (ube) dessert. Belen brought cassava bibingka. Nedy brought champorada. There was ginataan. And, there was more. Sitting in the front row was the venerable Bert Andrade on his first visit to Thursday night dancing at Eastlake.

KARAOKE. During dinner time, there was some karaoke.  In the photo above, the venerable Bert Andrade was singing "She Believes In Me".  Selfies were taken by the dozen, and you can see them in Nedy's Facebook, and in the Thursday Night Facebook Group.

BALLROOM.  We guys preferred balloon dances.  Above, Bert Andrade was dancing the boogie "I Saw Her Standing There" with Carmen.

Thursday, January 17, 2019:  BLACK & WHITE NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913.  Prizes for best attire. DJ Bing Villafuerte.


Thursday, January 24, 2019.  DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. DJ Nickie Bascos. 



  It's a fun dance party most every Thursday night with line dances and ballroom dances like swing including cha cha, night club 2-step, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego.  While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
