JANUARY BIRTHDAYS PARTY DANCE at Eastlake This Thursday January 10, 2019

Hello Dancers,   

 You are invited to the JANUARY BIRTHDAYS PARTY DANCE this Thursday January 10, 2019, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, beverages, and there will be roses and balloons for January birthday celebrants, plus cake for all. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. The miraculous DJ Mel Zaragoza will play this week for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm. 

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

Last Thursday (January 3rd) was a great DANCE PARTY at Eastlake.  Thanks in part to Nickie's Angels, visiting DANCESATION Stars, and visiting FASCA Dancers, there were about 30 dancers enjoying the music of DJ Nickie Bascos, as you can see in the 5 photos below.

THURSDAY JANUARY 3, 2019, DANCE PARTY at Eastlake:

LINE DANCING  was non-stop from 6pm - 7pm, and then off & on until 10. In the photo above they were dancing "Hear My Song", a relatively new line dance at Eastlake. Karina and Emelie were in the front line, more or less. 

POSE BEFORE FOOD TIME. Dancers posed for a photo before eating.  Here's a "Thank You", and some credits for very delicious food. Nick & Eden brought roast turkey breast in creamed mushrooms with vegetables and trimmings, and rice.  Beth brought vegetable salad. Karina brought chicken. Sheila brought dessert.  Nedy brought bibingka. Jovie brought a platter of mixed fruit. Ruben brought a platter of vegetables. DANCESATION's Bert & Lennie Velasco brought sinigang. DANCESATION's Mel brought pasta. Emelie brought chicken. Nina brought mini cheesecakes. And, there was more.

BALLROOM.  We guys preferred balloon dances.  Above, DANCESATION STAR Bert Velasco was dancing with Sheila to "Something About The Way You  Look Tonight" night club 2-step.

Thursday, January 31, 2019:  CHINESE NEW YEAR DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913.  Prizes for best attire. DJ Bing Villafuerte.


  It's a fun dance party most every Thursday night with line dances and ballroom dances like swing including cha cha, night club 2-step, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego.  While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
