DECEMBER BIRTHDAYS PARTY DANCE at Eastlake This Thursday December 6, 2018

Hello Dancers,   

 You are invited to the DECEMBER BIRTHDAYS PARTY DANCE this Thursday December 6, 2018, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, beverages, and there will be roses, balloons & cake for December birthday celebrants. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. The spectacular DJ Bing Villafuerte will play this week for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm. 

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

Last Thursday (November 29th) was a great COWBOY & WESTERN DANCE PARTY at Eastlake.  Thanks in part to Nickie's Angels, DJ Mel & friends, and visiting DANCESATION Stars, there were about 30 dancers enjoying the music of DJ Nickie Bascos, as you can see in the 7 photos below, in spite of the rain.

THURSDAY NOVEMBER 29, 2018, COWBOY & WESTERN DANCE PARTY at Eastlake:

POSE BEFORE FOOD TIME. Dancers posed for a photo before eating.  Here's a "Thank You", and some credits for very delicious food. Rei and Belen brought hot dogs, buns and relish. Mel Paiste brought pancit sotanghon.  Romy & Josie brought misua soup. Nedy brought chicken adobo. Gino brought fruits. Ruben brought pumpkin pie. And, there was more.

LINE DANCING  was non-stop from 6pm - 7pm, and then off & on until 10.  I think the folks in the photo above started "I Saw Her Standing There" as a line dance, but once my camera began flashing, they all waved at me.  

BALLROOM.  We guys preferred balloon dances.  Above, Nedy and Gino were dancing to the bachata, "Careless Whisper".

TANGO. DANCESATION STAR Bert Velasco was dancing with Dolly to "Hernando's Hideaway" tango in the photo above. Bert Velasco described the big dances upcoming on Friday December 7th and Saturday December 8th at DANCESATION's ballroom, Infinity in Kearny Mesa. 

WESTERN NIGHT BEST ATTIRE WINNERS - COUPLES.  Judges Nina and Edith congratulated best attired couples Lito & Daisy, Susie & DJ Mel (as Wyatt Earp), DJ Bing (without a partner), and DJ Nickie & Aurea.

WESTERN NIGHT BEST ATTIRE WINNERS, Carmen, Virgie, Pat, Beth, Terry, Aida, Nedy and Belen, were congratulated by Judge Edith, in the photo above.

Thursday, December 20, 2018:  CHRISTMAS DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. DJ Mel Zaragoza.


Thursday, December 27, 2018:  NEW YEARS MASQUERADE DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913.  Prizes for best attire. DJ Nickie Bascos.


  It's a fun dance party most every Thursday night with line dances and ballroom dances like swing including cha cha, night club 2-step, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego.  While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
