MEXICAN NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake This Thursday May 3, 2018

Hello Dancers,   

 You are invited to a MEXICAN NIGHT DANCE PARTY this Thursday May 3, 2018, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be prizes for best Mexican or hispanic attire, lots of dancing, fun, food and beverages.  It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. The miraculous DJ Mel Zaragoza will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm. 

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

Last Thursday (April 26th) was a great DANCE PARTY at Eastlake.  Thanks in part to about 10 1st-timers there were 45 dancers having fun, as you can see in the 4 photos below.

THURSDAY APRIL 26, 2018, DANCE PARTY at Eastlake:

LOVELY LADIES BY THE LAKE.  Early in the evening, enjoying the great weather, it was Edith, Linda, Vicky, Nora and Myrna by the lake, in the photo above.  

LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6pm - 7pm. Above, dancing to the long-running line dance favorite, "S'Aimera", it was Edith with DJ/DI Bing Villafuerte in the front line.   

FOOD TIME. Dancers posed for a photo before eating.  Here's a "Thank You", and some credits for very delicious food. Nick & Eden brought arroz caldo and Filipino pizza. Beth brought pineapple. Geraldine brought macaroni fruit salad. Mel Paiste brought seaweed salad. Ralph brought baked chicken.   Estrelle brought pollock fish.  Elma brought chicken salad. And, there was more.

BALLROOM.  We guys preferred ballroom dances.  Above, it was Delia and Elmer, in his 1st time at an Eastlake Thursday dance, dancing a cha cha, I think.

Thursday, May 24, 2018:  PROM NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. Prizes for best attire. DJ Nickie Bascos.


  It's a fun dance party most every Thursday night with line dances and ballroom dances like swing including Manila Swing (also known as 4-count hustle or Philippine swing or Filipino swing), cha cha, night club 2-step, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego.  While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
