You are invited to a BIRTHDAY PARTY DANCE NIGHT this Thursday April 12, 2018, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be roses for ladies, balloons for guys with April birthdays, lots of dancing, fun, food and beverages. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation. Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. The fabulous DJ Nickie Bascos will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm.
DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive. Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive. The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.
Last Thursday (April 5th) was a 70's DISCO NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, with over 30 dancers having fun, as you can see in the 7 photos below.

THURSDAY APRIL 5, 2018, 70's DISCO NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake:
LOVELY LADIES BY THE LAKE. Early in the evening, enjoying the great weather and Daylight Saving Time, it was Nina, Rei, Nene and Pat by the lake, in the photo above.
LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6pm - 7pm. Above, dancing to the relatively new "Havana", Edith and Pat were in the front line.
FOOD TIME. Dancers posed for a photo before eating. Here's a "Thank You", and some credits for very delicious food. Nick & Eden brought spaghetti. Beth brought oranges. Jake and Nene brought muffins. Rei brought Greek salad, empanadas and puto pao. Ralph brought baked chicken. Geraldine brought suman. Medy brought rice. Pat brought macaroni salad. Mel Paiste brought pancit canton and seaweed salad. Dolly brought vegetables and rice cakes. Edith & Gino R brought pizzas. Evelyn brought bread and spinach dip. And, there was more.
FACEBOOK - EASTLAKE SHORE THURSDAY DANCE GROUP. Geraldine sitting with Karina in the photo above, created an "EastLake Shore Thursday Dance Group" Facebook Group back in December. You can find that Facebook group at https://www.facebook.com/groups/1891499784211962/ More and more of the photos from Thursday nights are being posted in that Facebook group. I will get details on how to join the group. Nedy also posted 40 new photos in Nedy's Facebook.

BALLROOM DANCING, which we guys preferred, alternated with line dances from 7pm - 10pm. Above, Nene and Jake were dancing to a boogie.
WINNERS OF DISCO NIGHT ATTIRE CONTEST are in the photo above. Sheila, Karina, Dolly, Nene, Pat and Nita stood with judges Nina, Rei and Edith.

It's a fun dance party most every Thursday night with line dances and ballroom dances like swing including Manila Swing (also known as 4-count hustle or Philippine swing or Filipino swing), cha cha, night club 2-step, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties. This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego. While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
