BIRTHDAY PARTY NIGHT DANCE at Eastlake This Thursday May 10, 2018

Hello Dancers,   

 You are invited to a BIRTHDAY PARTY NIGHT DANCE this Thursday May 10, 2018, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be roses and balloons for May birthday celebrants, lots of dancing, fun, food, beverages and cake.  It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. The marvelous DJ Bing Villafuerte will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm. 

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

Last Thursday (May 3rd) was a great MEXICAN NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, with almost 40 dancers enjoying the music of DJ Mel Zaragoza, as you can see in the 6 photos below.

THURSDAY MAY 3, 2018, MEXICAN NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake:

LOVELY LADIES BY THE LAKE.  Early in the evening, enjoying the great weather, it was Edith, Nene, Rei, Nina and Belen by the lake, in the photo above. 

LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6pm - 7pm. Above, dancing to the long-running line dance favorite, "Asi Asi", it was Edith, Rei and Nedy in the front line, more or less.

FOOD TIME. Dancers posed for a photo before eating.  Here's a "Thank You", and some credits for very delicious food. Nick & Eden brought burritos and taco salad. Beth brought pancit bihon/canton and loquots. Geraldine brought tuna pasta. Mel Paiste brought seaweed salad. Ralph brought two baked chickens. Faride brought Mexican sweet bread. Rei brought Greek salad.  Belen brought fried chicken. Bernie & Lydia brought puto. Cindy & Chito brought Krispy Kreme donuts. Nedy brought mango. And, there was more.

WHAT A GUY!!  DJ/DI Mel had what looked like his best banner ever for the dance, with lots of hand-cut letters. 

BALLROOM.  We guys preferred ballroom dances.  Above, it was Elma and DJ Mel dancing "Porque Te Quiero" cha cha.

Thursday, May 31, 2018:  DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. DJ Bing Villafuerte.



  It's a fun dance party most every Thursday night with line dances and ballroom dances like swing including Manila Swing (also known as 4-count hustle or Philippine swing or Filipino swing), cha cha, night club 2-step, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego.  While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
