FLOWER PRINTS NIGHT Dance Party in OLD TOWN This Thursday June 1, 2017

Hello Party-Goers!

Eastlake's Beach Clubhouse is reserved by someone else again this Thursday, so the FLOWER PRINTS DANCE PARTY this Thursday night, June 1, 2017, will be in the OLD TOWN COMMUNITY CHURCH, 2444 Congress Street, San Diego.  There'll be lots of dancing and snacks and beverages.  And, PRIZES for best attire.  A $5 donation will be requested.  It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share.  The incredible DJ Mel Zaragoza will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm.
DIRECTIONS:  Take I-5 to Old Town Avenue.  Go about 2 blocks towards Old Town to San Diego Avenue and turn left.  Go a block and make a slight left at a Y-intersection onto Congress Street. The church (2444 Congress St) is on the right, 2 blocks ahead.

Last Thursday (May 25th) was also at Old Town.  There were only eleven happy dancers enjoying DJ Mel's great music, as you can see in the 4 photos below, which feature Myrna wearing a preview of this week's Flower Prints Night.  (Note: If the following photos do not appear when you look at this email, click the words at the top of this email that say something like "Show images which are still blocked to protect your privacy" - I already know who you are.  If that doesn't work, you can either click on the places where the photos should be, or go to this website to see the whole email.)

THURSDAY MAY 25, 2017, DANCE PARTY at Old Town:

LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6 to 7pm, and off & on the rest of the night.  Above, dancers stopped dancing to "Hayra" line dance and cha cha to pose.

BALLROOM DANCING.  We guys preferred the ballroom dances.  Above, Lito and Daisy danced to the boogie "Don't Do Me No Wrong".

SLOW DANCES were good.  Above, DJ Mel and Susie were dancing to "When A Man Loves A Woman"

CUMBIA.  Above, DJ Bing danced with Neriza to the cute cumbia, "Te Quiero Mucho".

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego.  While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.  Hmmm - I bet the simultaneous instructions while others are dancing make these, for example, the best Thursday night bachata dance in San Diego.
