To commemorate Philippine Independence Day, come on back to Eastlake's Beach Clubhouse for the FILIPINO NIGHT DANCE & June Birthdays Party this Thursday night, June 8, 2017, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista.
There'll be lots of fun, frolic, dancing, snacks and beverages. Roses & balloons for celebrants. And, PRIZES for best attire. It's a "private party", and this is your invitation. Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. The phenomenal DJ Bing Villafuerte will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm.
DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive. Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive. The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.
Last Thursday (June 1st) was FLOWER PRINTS NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Old Town. There were about 20 happy dancers enjoying DJ Mel's great music, as you can see in the 5 photos below. THURSDAY JUNE 1, 2017, FLOWER PRINTS NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Old Town:
LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6 to 7pm, and off & on the rest of the night. Above, dancing to "Vivo Di Notte" line dance, it was Marly, Myrna & Elma in the front line.
SELFIES were being taken all night. The photo above was one of the cute ones. I think you know the names of the cute girls above.
BALLROOM DANCING. We guys preferred the ballroom dances. Above, Nene and Jake danced to the cumbia "El De Los Ojos Negros".
HAPPY BIRTHDAY. Above, Elma held a delicious mango birthday cake from Red Ribbon on her birthday, while friends congratulated and sang to her.
FOOD (lots ! ): Elma and Marly also treated dancers to a sushi platter and fried chicken. DJ Mel brought pancit bihon. Jake brought cookies, Lou brought snacks, and there was pizza and noodles with vegetables.
FLOWER PRINTS WINNERS Jake, Nene, Susie, DJ Mel, Myrna, Neriza, Elma, Nedy, Rima and Jamila stood up with their prizes and Edith, in the photo above.

Thursday, June 29, 2017: RED, WHITE & BLUE NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. Prizes for best attire. DJ Mel Zaragoza.
It's a fun dance party most every Thursday night with line dances and ballroom dances like swing including Manila Swing (also known as 4-count hustle or Philippine swing or Filipino swing), cha cha, night club 2-step, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties. This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego. While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance. Hmmm - I bet the simultaneous instructions while others are dancing make these, for example, the best Thursday night hustle dance in San Diego.
