BLACK & WHITE DANCE PARTY at Eastlake This Thursday March 30, 2017

Hi Dancers!     

 It'll be a BLACK & WHITE DANCE PARTY NIGHT in Eastlake this Thursday night March 30th at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista.  Nothing formal, just cute black & white clothes - there'll be prizes for Best Attire, lots of fun, and snacks.  It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share.  The phenomenal DJ Bing Villafuerte will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm.   

DIRECTIONS:  Take the H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

THURSDAY MARCH 23, 2017, Dance Party at Eastlake:

LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6pm-7pm, and off & on for the rest of the night.  Above, early birds dancing to "More Than A Woman", Edith, Rei and Bing were in a more-or-less front line.

THE FOOD LINE.  Nina gave the blessing for the food.  Here's a "Thank You", and some credits to folks who brought food.  Nick & Eden brought longaniza, barbecue and fried rice.  Beth brought sandwiches.  Eva & Dwayne brought pancit and bread.  Bernie & Lydia brought puto bread and loquats.  Edith  & Gino brought oranges.  And, there was more.

AFRICA BUM BUM.  Line dancing again, this time to "Africa Bum Bum", it was Carina, Rei and Edith in the front line.

FIRST TIMERS Gigi and Conde (Edith's son) danced to the bachata "No Me Entendio".

BALLROOM.  Yes, we guys preferred the ballroom dances.  Above, I got to dance with Medy, also to the bachata "No Me Entendio".

Thursday, April 13, 2017:  NO DANCE. It's Holy Thursday, the night before Good Friday.


Thursday, April 20, 2017:  70'S DISCO NIGHT DANCE PARTY, featuring disco attire, in Eastlake, with prizes for Best Attire, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913.  DJ Bing Villafuerte.


  It's a fun dance party most every Thursday night with line dances and ballroom dances like swing including Manila Swing (also known as 4-count hustle or Philippine swing or Filipino swing), cha cha, night club 2-step, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego.  While the dancing and music is non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.  Hmmm - I bet the simultaneous instructions while others are dancing make these, for example, the best Thursday night dance in San Diego.
