ST PATRICK'S DANCE PARTY at Eastlake This Thursday March 16, 2017

Hi Dancers!  Go Green!

It'll be a ST. PATRICK'S DANCE PARTY NIGHT in Eastlake this Thursday night March 16th at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista.  There'll be bright colors, beverages & beautiful ladies.  There'll be prizes for Best Attire, lots of fun, and snacks.  It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share.  The great DJ Bing Villafuerte will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm.

DIRECTIONS:  Take the H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

Last Thursday (March 9th) at the Eastlake Dance Party, DJ Mel played for 35 happy dancers at the March Birthday Party, as you can see in the 7 photos below.  (Note: If the following photos do not appear when you look at this email, click the words at the top of this email that say something like "Show images which are still blocked to protect your privacy" - I already know who you are.  If that doesn't work, you can either click on the places where the photos should be, or go to this website to see the whole email.)

THURSDAY MARCH 9, 2017, Birthday Dance Party at Eastlake:

THE FOOD LINE.  Nina gave the blessing for the food.  Here's a "Thank You", and some credits.  Nick & Eden brought spaghetti & meatballs.  Beth brought fruit.  Ralph brought baked chicken.  DJ Mel brought potato salad.  The other Mel brought pandit, salad & pineapple.  Nina brought pandit.  Joe & Nora brought pizza.  And, there was more.

LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6pm-7pm, and off & on for the rest of the night.  Above, dancing to "Open Book", it was Eden, Nina and Nedy in the front line.

DJ MEL entertained the crowd from behind a big red birthday banner.

BALLROOM.  We guys preferred the ballroom dances.  Above, Nene and Jake were dancing to the rumba, "Quien Sabe"

RUMBA.  Above, also dancing to "Quien Sabe", it was Aniel dancing with Becky.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY.  Three March birthday celebrants, Dwayne, Eva and Joe, stood up for "Happy Birthday".  There were roses and balloons.

SERENADING, I think to Eva, it was Dwayne singing "Unchained Melody".

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego.  While the dancing and music is non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.  Hmmm - I bet the simultaneous instructions while others are dancing make these, for example, the best Filipino-American dance in San Diego.

(2)  You can click on Links to YouTube MUSIC VIDEOS and other websites that are mentioned in this email (the links are colored like this of "Open Book").  You can get more info at websites like: this email group's Home Page and Upcoming Events.
