It'll be another great Dance Party this Thursday night Jan. 19th at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be lots of fun and snacks and beverages. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation. Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. The great DJ Bing Villafuerte - fresh back from the Philippines - will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm.
DIRECTIONS: Take the H Street east to Eastlake Drive. Go right one block, then right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive. The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the the gated fence.
Last Thursday (Jan. 12th) was the JANUARY BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY at Eastlake. DJ Mel played for 25 happy dancers, as you can see in the 6 photos below. THURSDAY JANUARY 12, 2017, Dance Party at Eastlake:
DINNER LINE-UP. Dancers lined up for food - and there was a lot of food. Here's a "Thank You", and some credits - Nick & Eden brought dinuguan and puto. Beth brought special salad. Joe brought THREE PIZZAS again!! Romy & Josie brought the birthday cake, pancit, and guinataan, and coffee & coffee maker. Nedy also brought pancit. Bert Alota & Suzanne brought papaya. And, there was more.
BIRTHDAY DANCERS. Above, Nora, Ruben and Josie held on to roses, balloons and their birthday cake. All three have birthdays in January.

It's a fun dance party most every Thursday night with line dances and ballroom dances like swing including Manila Swing (also known as 4-count hustle or Philippine swing or Filipino swing), cha cha, night club 2-step, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties. This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego. While the dancing and music is non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance. Hmmm - I bet the simultaneous instructions while others are dancing make these, for example, the best Thursday night swing dancing in San Diego.
