ROSES & BALLOONS BIRTHDAY DANCE PARTY at Eastlake This Thursday November 10, 2016

Hello Dancers!  
  If you have a birthday in November, come to your party!  Besides cake, Birthday girls get roses and maybe balloons and guys get balloons, this Thursday night, November 10, 2016, at Eastlake Shores.  There'll also be snacks and beverages.  It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share.  The great DJ Bing Villafuerte will play line dances 6pm-7pm, followed by mixed ballroom and line dancing until 10pm.  
DIRECTIONS:  Take the H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into parking lot - the Clubhouse is behind the the gated fence.

THURSDAY NOVEMBER 3, 2016, at Eastlake:

LINE DANCING was non stop from 6 until 7pm.  Above, dancers were line dancing to long-running favorite "Caballero", with Myrna, Edith, Carolyn and Pam in the front line, more or less. 

GREAT FOOD was abundant once again.  Above, dancers waited to get some.  A big "THANK YOU" to people who brought food (let's see if I give accurate credits):  Ralph brought chicken and pancit palabok.  Nick & Eden brought sotunghon soup.  Beth brought tuna sandwiches.  Rei brought suman and dessert.  Royce & Maria brought pizza.  Nene & Jake brought maruya.  Connie & Carol brought cookies.  There also was macaroni & cheese and a lot more.

WELCOME BACK TO NORA, in the front line above between Edith & Romy.  Nora is recovering from knee surgery.  Nene was also in the front line dancing to the line dance favorite, "Bachata Risma".

BALLROOM Dancing.  We guys preferred ballroom dancing.  Above, Lydia and Bernie were dancing to what may have been a night club 2-step.

BOOGIE.  Above, Remi and Cet were dancing to "Bop To Be".

Thursday, November 24, 2016:  THANKSGIVING DAY.  No dance !!


Thursday, December 1, 2016:  Dance Party in Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913.  DJ Mel Zaragoza.


  It's a fun dance party most every Thursday night with line dances and ballroom dances like swing including Manila Swing (also known as 4-count hustle or Philippine swing or Filipino swing), cha cha, night club 2-step, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego.  While the dancing is continuous, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.  Hmmm - I bet the simultaneous instructions while others are dancing make these, for example, the best Thursday night hustle dancing lessons in San Diego.
