WESTERN & COWBOY DANCE PARTY at Eastlake This Thursday November 17, 2016

Hello Dancers!
If you have western attire, wear it this Thursday night, November 17, 2016, at Eastlake Shores for the WESTERN & COWBOY DANCE PARTY.  There'll be prizes for best attire, and there'll also be snacks and beverages.  It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share.  The incredible DJ Bing Villafuerte will play line dances 6pm-7pm, followed by mixed ballroom and line dancing until 10pm.
DIRECTIONS:  Take the H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into parking lot - the Clubhouse is behind the the gated fence.

Last Thursday, November 10, 2016, DJ Mel Zaragoza played at Eastlake for 35 happy dancers on BIRTHDAY PARTY NIGHT, as you can see in the following 5 photos.  (Note: If the following photos do not appear when you look at this email, click the words at the top of this email that say something like "Show images which are still blocked to protect your privacy" - I already know who you are.  If that doesn't work, you can either click on the places where the photos should be, or go to this website to see the whole email.)

THURSDAY NOVEMBER 10, 2016, at Eastlake:

THE FOOD LINE.  After an hour of line dancing, dancers were hungry.  There was a lot of food again.  A big "THANK YOU" to people who brought food:  Nick & Eden brought rice and chicken chop suey.  Bert Alota & Suzanne brought 3 large pizzas!!  Nedy brought turkey soup with rice.  Bernie & Lydia brought macaroni salad.  Beth brought pancit and watermelon.  Myrna brought spaghetti.  Jake brought leche flan.  Rei brought flan cupcakes.  Josie & Romy brought watermelon.  And, there was a lot more.  (I hope I got the credits right.  Correction:  It was Nora & Joe who brought maruya last week, not Nene & Jake.)

LINE DANCING was non stop from 6 until 7pm, and then intermittently until 10.  Above, dancers were line dancing to the huge favorite "Bachata Risma", with Edith, Josie and Nora in the front line.

CHILLY CHA CHA seems to be making a come-back.  Above, Nene demonstrated the version of "Chilly Cha Cha" Line Dance choreographed by Totoy Pinoy, with Josie also in front.  I love the song.

BIRTHDAY GIRLS, Neriza, Myrna and Beth, with birthdays in November lined up with their roses and balloons.  Above, Romy was serenading them with "Love Me With All Your Heart" when Neriza joined in to make it a duet.

BALLROOM.  We guys preferred ballroom dancing.  Above, I was fortunate to get to dance with Elsie to the boogie "Wait A Minute".

Here's the plan for the next few weeks for Thursday night dances:

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego.  While the dancing is continuous, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.  Hmmm - I bet the simultaneous instructions while others are dancing make these, for example, the best Thursday night cha cha dancing lessons in San Diego.

(2)  You can click on Links to YouTube MUSIC VIDEOS and other websites that are mentioned in this email (the links are colored like this of "Chilly Cha Cha").  You can get more info at websites like: this email group's Home Page and Upcoming Events.

(3)  If you do NOT want these weekly emails anymore, you can "unsubscribe" by e-mailing or calling me (619-224-3095).
