ROSES & BALLOONS BIRTHDAY DANCE PARTY at Eastlake This Thursday October 13, 2016

Hello Dancers!  
  If you have a birthday in October, come join your party!  Besides cake, Birthday girls get roses and balloons, this Thursday night, October 13, 2016, at Eastlake Shores.  There'll also be snacks and beverages.  A $5 donation will be requested.  It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share.  The miraculous DJ Bing Villafuerte will play line dances 6pm-7pm, followed by mixed ballroom and line dancing until 10pm.  
DIRECTIONS:  Take the H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into parking lot - the Clubhouse is behind the the gated fence.

THURSDAY OCTOBER 6, 2016, at Eastlake:

GREAT FOOD was abundant once again.  Above, hungry dancers waited to get some, with first-timer Willy kneeling in front.  A big "THANK YOU" to people who brought food:  Nick & Eden brought chicken noodle soup.  DJ Mel brought chicken adobo.  Herbert brought pancit palabok.  Gino & Edith R brought maruyo.  Beth brought fruit.  There was tofu & mushrooms and a lot more. 

LINE DANCING was non stop from 6 until 7pm.  Above, dancers were line dancing to "Cha Cha Espana", with Edith, Elma and Beth in the front line.

BALLROOM Dancing.  We guys preferred ballroom dancing.  Above, Nick and Eden were dancing to the swing "Faithfully". 

WELCOME BACK to Jake who had some eye surgery.  Above, Jake was dancing with Nene.

TANGO.  Above, Neriza and Dione were dancing to "Blue Tango".

  It's a fun dance party most every Thursday night with line dances and ballroom dances like swing including Manila Swing (also known as 4-count hustle or Philippine swing or Filipino swing), cha cha, night club 2-step, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego.  While the dancing is continuous, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.  Hmmm - I bet the simultaneous instructions while others are dancing make these, for example, the best Thursday night club 2-step dancing in San Diego.
