DANCE PARTY at Eastlake This Thursday October 20, 2016

Hello Dancers!  
  Come join another rollicking fun dance party this Thursday night, October 20, 2016, at Eastlake Shores.  There'll also be snacks and beverages.  It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share.  The marvelous DJ Mel Zaragoza will play line dances 6pm-7pm, followed by mixed ballroom and line dancing until 10pm.  
DIRECTIONS:  Take the H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into parking lot - the Clubhouse is behind the the gated fence. 


Last Thursday, October 13, 2016, was BIRTHDAY PARTY NIGHT for October celebrants, with DJ Bing Villafuerte playing at Eastlake for almost 40 happy dancers, thanks in part to several VIPs from North County, as you can see in the following 7 photos.  (Note: If the following photos do not appear when you look at this email, click the words at the top of this email that say something like "Show images which are still blocked to protect your privacy" - I already know who you are.  If that doesn't work, you can either click on the places where the photos should be, or go to this website to see the whole email.)


THURSDAY OCTOBER 13, 2016, at Eastlake:

LET'S EAT !!  Above, dancers were in line to get some great food!  A big "THANK YOU" to people who brought food:  Nick & Eden brought patola with misua.  Nene brought Japchae Korean noodles & vegetables, ube and pichi-pichi.  Maria & Royce brought barbecued meatballs.  Bernie brought baked chicken.  Ralph brought pancit.  Beth brought watermelon.  Nedy brought chicken soup.  There was spaghetti, brownies, and a lot more. 

LINE DANCING was non stop from 6 until 7pm.  Above, dancers were line dancing to "La Ultima Noche", with Nedy and Royce in the front line.

BALLROOM Dancing.  We guys preferred ballroom dancing.  Above, Bert Alota and Suzanne were dancing to the rumba "Sin Ti". 

HAPPY BIRTHDAY.  Above, Nedy and 5 guys (Ralph, Jake, Cet, Bert Alota and Bernie) were honored for their October birthdays.  Nedy got a dozen roses.  Balloons for the guys.

BIRTHDAY DANCE.  A few guys got to dance a birthday dance with Nedy, including Ping in the photo above.

TANGO.  Above, DJ Mel Zaragoza and Rima were dancing to "Tango De Milo".

TANGO DE MILO also was danced to by Loida and Nick in the photo above.

  It's a fun dance party most every Thursday night with line dances and ballroom dances like swing including Manila Swing (also known as 4-count hustle or Philippine swing or Filipino swing), cha cha, night club 2-step, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego.  While the dancing is continuous, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.  Hmmm - I bet the simultaneous instructions while others are dancing make these, for example, the best Thursday ballroom dancing in San Diego.
