HALLOWEEN DANCE PARTY at Eastlake This Thursday October 27, 2016

Hello Dancers!  
  Costumes are welcome at the Halloween Dance Party this Thursday night, October 27, 2016, at Eastlake Shores.  There'll be prizes for best costumes, snacks and beverages.  It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share.  The wonderful DJ Bing Villafuerte will play line dances 6pm-7pm, followed by mixed ballroom and line dancing until 10pm.  
DIRECTIONS:  Take the H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into parking lot - the Clubhouse is behind the the gated fence.

THURSDAY OCTOBER 20, 2016, at Eastlake:

FOOD FRENZY !!  Above, dancers were in line to get great food!  A big "THANK YOU" to people who brought food:  Nick & Eden brought barbecue and chop sue.  Rei & Belen brought lots of pizza.  Josie brought fruit salad.  Lito brought popcorn.  Beth brought fruits.  Emelie & Elsa brought desserts.  There was noodle salad and a lot more.  

LINE DANCING was non stop from 6 until 7pm.  Above, dancers were line dancing to "Take Me Away", with Daisy, Myrna, Edith, Bing and Belen in the front line. 

THREESOME Daisy, Ralph and Myrna kept dancing on the side to "Take Me Away".

BALLROOM Dancing.  We guys preferred ballroom dancing.  Above, Nene and Jake were dancing to the bachata "No Me Entendio".  

BACHATA.  Romy and Vicky were also enjoying dancing to "No Me Entendio" bachata in the photo above.

Thursday, November 17, 2016:  WESTERN COWBOY Dance Party in Eastlake with prizes for best attire, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913.  DJ Bing Villafuerte.


  It's a fun dance party most every Thursday night with line dances and ballroom dances like swing including Manila Swing (also known as 4-count hustle or Philippine swing or Filipino swing), cha cha, night club 2-step, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego.  While the dancing is continuous, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.  Hmmm - I bet the simultaneous instructions while others are dancing make these, for example, the best Thursday dancing in San Diego.
