THURSDAY DECEMBER 14, 2017, BIRTHDAY DANCE PARTY at Eastlake:
LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6 to 7pm, and off & on the rest of the night. Above, dancing to "Quando, Quando, Quando" line dance, it was Edith and Nina more or less in the front line.
FOOD LINE. Above, Nina was ready to give a blessing for the large amount of food. Here's a "Thank You", and some credits. Nick & Eden brought prime ribs and salad. Geraldine brought macaroni salad. Nedy brought corned beef brisket and cabbage. Karina brought banana bread. Sheila brought pandan gelatin. Ralph brought baked chicken. Suzanne brought turkey chili and toppings. Beth brought cantaloupe and oranges. Estrelle brought pancit #5 (beef & vegetables) and rice, and a BIG CAKE. Rosa and Myrna brought chicken apretada. Rei brought pasta salad. Josie & Romy brought apples and oranges. Cindy and Chito brought salted & peppered squid and chicken wings. Nene brought puto. Jake brought leche flan. Carmen brought puto and potato salad. And, there was more.
BALLROOM DANCING. We guys preferred the ballroom dances. Above, Angie and Nando danced to the night club 2-step "Yo Te Amo". Angie also led dancers in the line dance "S'Aimera", a San Diego Filipino-American line dance favorite since Angie choreographed it in 1999.

Hello Dancers, Join a BIRTHDAY DANCE PARTY this Thursday night November 9th at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food and beverages, and roses for ladies with November birthdays and balloons. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation. Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. The spectacular DJ Nickie Bascos will fill in for vacationing Bing and will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm. DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive. Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive. The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.
Last Thursday (November 2nd) night was a fun dance at Eastlake, with 35 happy dancers enjoying the great music of DJ Bing as you can see in the 4 photos below. THURSDAY NOVEMBER 2, 2017, DANCE PARTY at Eastlake:
LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6 to 7pm, and off & on the rest of the night. Above, dancing to "My Carol (Oh Carol)" line dance, it was Edith and Belen in front of Connie and Eden.
FOOD LINE. Above, Nina was ready to give a blessing for the food. Here's a "Thank You", and some credits. Nick & Eden brought honey baked chicken, yakisoba, and turon. Geraldine brought binatog. Belen and Rei brought snacks. Beth, back from the Philippines, brought squid, dried fish and rice. Estrelle brought pichi pichi. And, there was more.
BALLROOM DANCING. We guys preferred the ballroom dances. Above, first-timers Connie and Rick had fun dancing to "How Will I Know".
RUMBA. I was fortunate enough to dance with Dolly to the lovely "Carino Mio".
