Let's take a week off and enjoy Thanksgiving this Thursday November 23rd. So, NO dance this Thursday at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. The following Thursday, November 30th, will be Cowboy & Western Night at Eastlake, when DJ Bing Villafuerte will play the music.
Last Thursday (November 16th) was the STRIPES NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, with about 35 happy dancers enjoying DJ Bing Villafuerte's music, as you can see in the 5 photos below. THURSDAY NOVEMBER 16, 2017, Stripes Night Dance Party at Eastlake:
LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6 to 7pm, and off & on the rest of the night. Above, Edith, Rei and Zeny were more-or-less in the front line dancing to "Do You Remember (September)", with a version new to Thursday night dancers.
FOOD LINE. Above, Nina was ready to give a blessing for the food. Here's a "Thank You", and some credits for so much food. Nick & Eden brought spaghetti & meatballs. Geraldine brought arroz caldo. Beth brought sweet banana dessert. Nedy brought arroz caldo. Karina brought banana bread. Cindy brought dessert cakes. Rei brought salad. Estrelle & Rosa brought chicken sandwiches. Sheila brought buko pandan (a coconut dessert). Ralph brought baked chicken. Medy brought sotanghon soup. Nene brought puto kutsinta. And, there was more.
BALLROOM. We guys preferred the ballroom dances. Above, Stripes Night winners Eva and Dwayne danced to the tango "La Cumparsita".

It's a fun dance party most every Thursday night with line dances and ballroom dances like swing including Manila Swing (also known as 4-count hustle or Philippine swing or Filipino swing), cha cha, night club 2-step, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties. This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego. While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
