DANCE PARTY at Eastlake This Thursday December 5, 2019

Hello Dancers,   

 You are invited to a DANCE PARTY this Thursday December 5, 2019, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, and beverages. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. The adorable DJ Mel Zaragoza will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm. 

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

Last Thursday (November 28th) was Thanksgiving - NO DANCE PARTY at Eastlake.  BUT, I've picked 6 photos (below) from Novembers & Decembers of the past 3 years.

THURSDAY November 3, 2016 at Eastlake:

LINE DANCING in the 2016 photo above to "Bachata Risma", it was Edith, Nora, Romy and Nene in the front line, more or less.


BALLROOM DANCING IN NOVEMBER 2017:

RUMBA.  In the photo above, I was dancing with Dolly to the rumba "Carino Mio".

TANGO.  In the photo above, Chito was dancing with Cindy to the tango "Sognando Angelica".

ANOTHER TANGO.  In the photo above, Eva was dancing with Dwayne to the tango "La Cumparsita".


LAST YEAR, 2018:

BY THE LAKE, ONE LAST TIME in 2018, because Daylight Saving Time a couple days later.  Above, it was DJ Bing and Edith and Nina by the lake on November 1, 2018. 

LINE DANCING is usually non-stop from 6 to 7pm.  In the photo above, Edith, Nedy and Eden were in the front line, more or less, dancing to "Mamita Mia", on December 6, 2018.

Thursday, December 19, 2019:  CHRISTMAS DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. DJ Nickie Bascos.


Thursday, December 26, 2019:  NEW YEARS & MASQUERADE DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. Prizes for best attire. DJ Mel Zaragoza.


  It's a fun dance party most Thursday nights with line dances and ballroom dances like swing including cha cha, night club 2-step, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego.  While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
