NO DANCE PARTY at Eastlake This Thursday (Thanksgiving) November 28, 2019

Hello Dancers,   

  Enjoy THANKSGIVING this Thursday.  There's NO dance at Eastlake this Thursday November 28, 2019.  But, don't forget to come back the following Thursday, December 5th, for dancing with music by DJ Mel Zaragoza.  

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

Last Thursday (November 21st) was a great STRIPES NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake.  Thanks in part to Nickie's Angels, there were about 30 dancers enjoying the music of DJ Nickie Bascos, as you can see in the 6 photos below.

THURSDAY November 21, 2019, STRIPES NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake:

LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6 to 7pm, then alternating with ballroom dances until 10pm.  In the photo above, ladies were dancing to the "Blame It On The Bossa Nova" line dance, with Beth, Edith, Pat E and Minda in the front line, more-or-less.

GROUP PHOTO BEFORE FOOD. Dancers posed for this photo above before eating. Here is a big "THANK YOU" to people who brought delicious food. Mel Paiste brought sotanghon with patola and shrimp.  Nick & Eden brought pinakbet and rice. Estrelle brought pork menudo and rice.  Beth brought salad.  Del brought brownies.  Minda brought dilis (snacks). Juliette brought garlic bread and croissants.  Pat E brought yams (dessert).  Carmen brought fried rice. Karina brought ham. Sheila brought malabanos and puko pandan desserts.  Ralph brought chicken. And, there was more.

BALLROOM DANCING alternated with line dancing from 7pm, until 10pm.  In the photo above, Aurea and DJ Nickie were dancing to "La Cumparsita" tango. 

STRIPES NIGHT WINNERS - MEN.  In the photo above the "winning" men, Mel Paista, Bert Alota, Rick, Fred, Cet and Ralph, posed for pictures.

Thursday, December 12, 2019: DECEMBER BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913, with roses for birthday ladies, balloons and cake. DJ Bing Villafuerte.


Thursday, December 19, 2019:  CHRISTMAS DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. DJ Nickie Bascos.


  It's a fun dance party most Thursday nights with line dances and ballroom dances like swing including cha cha, night club 2-step, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego.  While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
