DANCE PARTY at Eastlake This Thursday April 4, 2019

Hello Dancers,   

 You are invited to a DANCE PARTY this Thursday April 4, 2019, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, and food. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. The phenomenal DJ Mel Zaragoza will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm. 

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

Last Thursday (March 28th) was a great DISNEY NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake.  Thanks in part to 2 first-timers and some returning dancers, there were 30 dancers enjoying the music of DJ Bing Villafuerte, as you can see in the 5 photos below.

THURSDAY MARCH 28, 2019, DISNEY NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake:

BY THE LAKE.  Posing in the photo above by Eastlake in Disney-inspired attire, it was Estrelle, Nina, Nene, Edith and me. 

POSE BEFORE FOOD TIME. Dancers posed for the photo above before eating. Here's a "Thank You", and some credits for lots of very delicious food. Beth brought banana dessert. Geraldine brought pancit bihon. Nene brought pandan gulaman juice. Ralph brought chicken. Nina brought salad. Nick & Eden brought sautéed mussels with ginger, fish balls with zucchini, loquats, rice and papaya. Estrelle brought arroz caldo. Karina & Sheila brought banana bread dessert. Elma brought pizza. And, there was more.

DANCING.  There was lots of dancing.  Above, it was Florita, who is visiting from the Philippines with husband Joel, dancing with Ralph to the melodic tango "Sognando Angelica".

DISNEY NIGHT ATTIRE WINNERS posed for the photo above.  The winners included Lupita, Ruben, Marta, Beth, Estrelle, Nene, Sheila, Geraldine and Karina.  Judges Nina and Edith were also in the photo.

Friday, April 5, 2019:  The Filipino band Aegis, who recorded the night club 2-step and karaoke favorite "Sinta" will perform at Sycuan Casino, as part of a "worldwide tour".



Thursday, April 11, 2019:  APRIL BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. Cake. Balloons. Roses for birthday ladies. DJ Bing Villafuerte.


Thursday, April 18, 2019:  NO DANCE.  It's Holy Thursday.


Thursday, April 25, 2019.  DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. DJ Nickie Bascos. 


  It's a fun dance party most every Thursday night with line dances and ballroom dances like swing including cha cha, night club 2-step, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego.  While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
