ST PATRICK'S & MARCH BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY at Eastlake This Thursday March 14, 2019

Hello Dancers,   

 You are invited to a ST PATRICK'S & MARCH BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY this Thursday March 14, 2019, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, cake and beverages, and balloons and roses for birthday ladies. There will be prizes for Best St. Patrick's Day Attire. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. With Daylight Saving Time, there'll be photos by the Lake. The miraculous DJ Bing Villafuerte will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm. 

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

Last Thursday (March 7th) was a great DANCE PARTY at Eastlake.  Thanks in part to DANCESATION stars like Bert Velasco, and some first-timers, there were almost 40 dancers enjoying the music of DJ Mel Zaragoza, as you can see in the 5 photos below.

THURSDAY MARCH 7, 2019, DANCE PARTY at Eastlake:

LINE DANCING  was non-stop from 6pm - 7pm, and then off & on until 10. In the photo above, folks were line dancing to a new one for Thursdays at Eastlake, "Inano Ni Kwan", with Edith in front, more or less. 

POSE BEFORE FOOD TIME. Dancers posed for a photo before eating.  Here's a "Thank You", and some credits for a lot of very delicious food. Nick & Eden brought batsoy, cucumber salad and rice. Beth brought plantain banana dessert. Carmen brought puto. Rei brought salad and tangerines. Geraldine brought chicken pinola. Estrelle brought key lime pie. Karina brought ginataan. Connie & Rick brought pancit. Rosa brought turon. Cecilia & Ely brought pasta salad with shrimp. Bert Velasco and Mel of DANCESTION brought arroz caldo, dinengdeng, and oranges. Eva brought Veggie Bites muffins dessert. Romy & Josie brought coffee. Sheila brought malabanos dessert. Ralph brought chicken. And, there was more.

DJ MEL did another great job playing the music.  He also hosts a dance party monthly at Infinity Dance Sport Center on second Friday nights.

BALLROOM.  We guys preferred the ballroom dances.  Above, first-timers Maria and Armando enjoyed dancing to the merengue "Princesita".

Thursday, March 28, 2019:  DISNEY NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. Prizes for Best Attire (lots of Disney costumes on EBay).  DJ Bing Villafuerte.


Thursday, April 4, 2019.  DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. DJ Mel Zaragoza. 


  It's a fun dance party most every Thursday night with line dances and ballroom dances like swing including cha cha, night club 2-step, rumba and much much more.

Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego.  While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
