DANCE PARTY at Eastlake This Thursday September 13, 2018

Hello Dancers,   

 You are invited to a DANCE PARTY this Thursday September 10, 2018, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, beverages. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. The fabulous DJ Mel Zaragoza will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm. 

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

Last Thursday (September 6th) was a wonderful SEPTEMBER BIRTHDAYS NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, with over 50 dancers, most DRESSED IN WHITE at Nina's request, enjoying the music of DJ Bing Villafuerte, as you can see in the 6 photos below.

THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 6, 2018, BIRTHDAY NIGHT DANCE PARTY, most dancers in white at Eastlake:

LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6pm - 7pm, then off & on until closing time.  Above, some were dancing to a long-time favorite "A Namorada" line dance. It was Nedy and Edith in the front line, more or less.

BALLROOM DANCES were the most common.  Above, Edith was dancing with Mel Paiste to the great salsa, "Ave Maria Lola". 

THE MIXER is what they called this.  Above, DJ Mel Zaragoza was dancing The Mixer with Aurea.

BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION.  Six lovely ladies celebrated September birthdays, and they posed in the photo above: Aida, Nina, Marilyn, Nene, Eden and Myra.

MR. CUBA was a surprise guest singer! He honored the Birthday Celebrants by serenading them in the photo above with the song, "Oh Nina" (aka "Oh Carol").

Thursday, September 27, 2018:  DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. DJ Nickie Bascos.


Thursday, October 4, 2018:  50's & 60's NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. Prizes for best attire. DJ Bing Villafuerte.


  It's a fun dance party most every Thursday night with line dances and ballroom dances like swing including cha cha, night club 2-step, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego.  While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
