50's - 60's NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake This Thursday October 4, 2018

Hello Dancers,   

 You are invited to a 50's - 60's NIGHT DANCE PARTY this Thursday October 4, 2018, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, beverages, and prizes for best 50's - 60's Night Dance attire.  Since it's the first time for our 50's - 60's Night, here are some attire ideas from the eBay website:  Pedal Pushers, Ribbon in Hair, Bobby Sox, Wide (Flared) & Colorful Skirt, Wide Belt.  It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. The marvelous DJ Bing Villafuerte will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm. 

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

 Last week (September 27th) was a great DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, and thanks in part to visiting VIPs from Bert Velasco's DANCESATION, FASCA dancers, and the Mira Mesa BFF dancers, there were about 50 dancers enjoying the music of DJ Nickie Bascos, as you can see in the 5 photos below.

THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 27, 2018, DANCE PARTY at Eastlake:

FOOD TIME. Dancers posed for a photo before eating.  Here's a "Thank You", and some credits for a lot of very delicious food. Nick & Eden brought apretada, munggo, fried rice, watermelon, a big birthday cake and flowers. Geraldine brought gelatin dessert. Ralph brought chicken. Karina brought pasta. Beth brought pancit. Sheila brought malabanos. Mel Paiste brought pancit sotanghon. Bert & Lennie Velasco brought chips & salsa. Wilma brought pancit and higado. Jake brought plums. Carmen brought mini puto. Fred & Trining brought pizza. And, there was more.

DANCESATION STARS Bert Velasco and Mila were dancing in the photo above. I think it was a cumbia.

TANGO.  In the photo above, dancing to the tango "Sognando Angelica", it was DJ Abby from DANCESATION, with Aurora, who is one of DJ Nickie's Mira Mesa BFF Dancers.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY.  In the photo above, Eden was next to her birthday cake, just before the celebration. Her birthday happened to fall on the day of the dance.

  It's a fun dance party most every Thursday night with line dances and ballroom dances like swing, cha cha, night club 2-step, rumba and much much more.

Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego.  While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
