DANCE PARTY at Eastlake This Thursday May 31, 2018

Hello Dancers,   

 You are invited to a DANCE PARTY this Thursday May 17, 2018, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, and beverages.  It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. The incredible DJ Bing Villafuerte will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm. 

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

Last Thursday (May 24th) was a great PROM NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, with about 30 dancers enjoying the music of DJ Nickie Bascos, as you can see in the 5 photos below.

THURSDAY MAY 24, 2018, PROM NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake:

BY THE LAKE.  Early in the evening, it was Nedy and Bing in his "tuxedo" by the lake, in the photo above.  You can see this and many more photos on Nedy's Facebook.

LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6pm - 7pm, then off & on until closing time.  Above, some early birds were dancing to "Sweet Caroline" line dance.

FOOD TIME. Dancers posed for a photo before eating.  Here's a "Thank You", and some credits for very delicious food. Nick & Eden brought upo guisado and rice. Nedy brought fried rice. Nene brought embutido. 1st-timer Erika brought Aztec Cake. Mel Paiste brought sotanghon canton.  Fred brought pizza.  Edith & Gino R brought corn.  Cindy & Chito brought Krispy Kreme doughnuts. There was pizza and more.

PROM QUEENS.  Eden and Neriza, above, were named Prom Queens by judges Nina and Edith.

PROM NIGHT BEST ATTIRE WINNERS, besides Eden and Neriza above, included Fred, Nene, Jake, Pat and Myrna.

Thursday, June 14, 2018:  NO DANCE. Eastlake reserved for another event on June 14th.



Thursday, June 21, 2018:  CARIBBEAN NIGHT and HATS NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. Prizes for best attire. DJ Mel Zaragoza.


  It's a fun dance party most every Thursday night with line dances and ballroom dances like swing including cha cha, night club 2-step, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego.  While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
