DANCE Party at Eastlake This Thursday May 17, 2018

Hello Dancers,   

 You are invited to a DANCE PARTY this Thursday May 17, 2018, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, and beverages.  It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. The wonderful DJ Bing Villafuerte will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm. 

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

Last Thursday (May 10th) was a fun BIRTHDAY PARTY DANCE NIGHT at Eastlake, with over 40 dancers enjoying the music of DJ Bing Villafuerte, as you can see in the 5 photos below.

THURSDAY MAY 10, 2018, BIRTHDAY PARTY DANCE NIGHT at Eastlake:

LOVELY LADIES BY THE LAKE.  Early in the evening, enjoying more great weather, it was Edith, Rei, Belen, Nene and Nina by the lake, in the photo above.

LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6pm - 7pm. Above, dancing to the long-running line dance favorite, "Bachata Risma" (aka "Borracho Y Loco", and aka "Lamento Boliviano"), it was Marivic and Edith in the front line, more or less.

FOOD TIME. Dancers posed for a photo before eating.  Here's a big "Thank You", and some credits for very delicious food. Nick & Eden brought apritada. Beth brought pineapple and loquots. Mel Paiste brought pancit sotanghon. Ralph brought baked chicken. Rei brought Greek salad, and with Belen brought lumpia. Bernie & Lydia brought spare ribs and bread. Carmen & Fred brought turon. Divine brought spaghetti and macaroni salad. Elma brought tuna salad sandwiches.  Fred & Trining brought pizzas. Vicky brought guacamole. Jake brought leche flan.  Marta brought Mexican dessert. And, there was more.

BIRTHDAY CELEBRANTS FOR MAY joined hands to cut the biggest of the 4 cakes.  Above, it was Bernie, Edith, Rei and Divine.

BALLROOM.  We guys preferred ballroom dances.  Above, it was Larry and Divine dancing "This I Promise You" night club two-step.

Thursday, May 31, 2018:  DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. DJ Bing Villafuerte.


Thursday, June 7, 2018:  FILIPINO NIGHT and JUNE BIRTHDAYS PARTY NIGHT at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. DJ Bing Villafuerte. 


  It's a fun dance party most every Thursday night with line dances and ballroom dances like swing including Manila Swing (also known as 4-count hustle or Philippine swing or Filipino swing), cha cha, night club 2-step, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego.  While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
