You are invited to a BIRTHDAY PARTY NIGHT DANCE this Thursday March 8, 2018, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be roses for ladies, balloons for guys with March birthdays, lots of dancing, fun, food and beverages. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation. Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. The wonderful DJ Bing Villafuerte will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm.
DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive. Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive. The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.
Last Thursday (March 1st) was a DANCE PARTY at Eastlake. Thanks to some 1st-timers, to some of Nickie Bascos's Mira Mesa BFF Dancers, and to others, there were over 40 dancers enjoying the great music of DJ Nickie Bascos, as you can see in the 5 photos below.

THURSDAY MARCH 1, 2018, DANCE PARTY at Eastlake:
LINE DANCING, including lessons, was non-stop from 6 to 7pm, and off & on the rest of the night. Above, later in the night, folks were dancing to "Quiereme Mucho", also called "Muy Mucho Line Dance", with crossing lines, a relatively new one for Thursday nights at Eastlake.
FOOD TIME. Dancers posed for a photo before eating. Here's a "Thank You", and some credits for very delicious food. Nick & Eden brought fish sticks and mongo. Estrelle brought something she called quinzha. Rei brought Greek salad. Mel Paiste brought seaweed salad. Delia brought cream cheese with raspberry sauce & crackers. Nedy brought pork with oyster sauce & bok choi & rice. Beth brought corn. Geraldine brought baked macaroni. Josie & Romy brought macaroni salad and coffee. And, there was more.
BALLROOM DANCING. We guys preferred the ballroom dances. Above, Rosa and Mel Zaragoza were dancing to "Careless Whisper" night club two-step. Rosa was a Best Attire Winner at the Chinese New Year Dance, and she was dressed nicely at this dance, too.
TAKSIL. I enjoyed dancing with Aurea, one of the Mira Mesa BFF Dancers, to another night club 2-step, "Taksil", a Filipino ballad about romance along the lines of "Bakit Pa".
SELFIES were taken by the dozen. Above, Larry and Nedy were in one. You can see all 40 of Nedy's on Nedy's Facebook.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties. This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego. While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
