VALENTINES and BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY at Eastlake This Thursday February 8, 2018

Hello Dancers,   

 You are invited to a combination Valentines and Birthdays dance party this Thursday February 8, 2018, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be roses for ladies, balloons for guys with February birthdays, lots of dancing, fun, food and beverages.  It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. The adorable DJ Bing Villafuerte will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm.  

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

Last Thursday (February 1st) was a DANCE PARTY at Eastlake. THURSDAY FEBRUARY 1, 2018, DANCE PARTY at Eastlake:

LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6 to 7pm, and off & on the rest of the night.  Above, early in the night, dancing to "Oh Carol", it was Nedy and Edith in front, more or less. 

FOOD LINE.  Here's a "Thank You", and some credits for very delicious food.  Nick & Eden brought barbecued pork & chicken and fried rice. Estrelle brought egg sandwiches and fruit.  Nedy brought chicken casserole. Beth brought pineapple.  Mel Paiste brought pancit canton. Ralph brought baked chicken. Geraldine brought fresh lumpia. Elma brought arroz caldo. Jake brought eggplant tortas. Rosa brought suman. And, there was more.  And, you can see DJ Mel Zaragoza in the back row - he's back !!

BALLROOM DANCING.  We guys preferred the ballroom dances.  Above, Nick and Eden were dancing to the night club 2-step "Yo Te Amo".

CHA CHA.  Mel Paiste and first-timer Frances enjoyed dancing to the cha cha "Corazon Espinaldo".

Thursday, February 22, 2018:  CHINESE NEW YEAR NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. Prizes for best attire. DJ Bing Villafuerte.


Thursday, March 1, 2018:  DANCE Party at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. DJ Bing Villafuerte.


  It's a fun dance party most every Thursday night with line dances and ballroom dances like swing including Manila Swing (also known as 4-count hustle or Philippine swing or Filipino swing), cha cha, night club 2-step, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego.  While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
