DANCE PARTY at Eastlake This Thursday February 1, 2018

Hello Dancers,   

 You are invited to a dance party this Thursday February 1, 2018, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food and beverages.  It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. The adorable DJ Bing Villafuerte will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm.  

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

Last Thursday (January 25th) was BLACK & WHITE NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake. THURSDAY JANUARY 25, 2018, BLACK & WHITE NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake:

LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6 to 7pm, and off & on the rest of the night.  Above, early in the night, dancing to "I'm Not The Only One", using the steps of "Simplemente", it was Edith and Nene in front, more or less. 

FOOD LINE.  Here's a "Thank You", and some credits for very delicious food.  Nick & Eden brought spaghetti & meatballs and seasoned rolls. Estrelle brought baked chicken.  Nedy brought fried rice. Beth brought chicken salad.  Mel brought sotanghon. Ralph brought baked chicken. Geraldine brought spaghetti. Connie brought dinuguan. And, there was more.

WEST COAST SWING LESSON was given by Chito and Cindy. "Thank You!" to Chito and Cindy.

BALLROOM DANCING.  We guys preferred the ballroom dances.  Above, Daisy and Lito were dancing "Corazon De Melon" cha cha.  

SELFIES were taken by the dozen. Above Delia, 1st-timer Menchie, and Nedy were in one.

WINNERS of the Black & White Night Best Attire prizes, awarded by Eden and Edith, were Suzanne, Cindy and Menchie, in the photo above.

Thursday, February 15, 2018:  MARDI GRAS DANCE PARTY NIGHT at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. Prizes for best attire. DJ Bing Villafuerte.


Thursday, February 23, 2018:  CHINESE NEW YEAR NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. Prizes for best attire. DJ Bing Villafuerte.


  It's a fun dance party most every Thursday night with line dances and ballroom dances like swing including Manila Swing (also known as 4-count hustle or Philippine swing or Filipino swing), cha cha, night club 2-step, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego.  While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
