DANCE PARTY in EASTLAKE This Thursday January 18, 2018

Hello Dancers,  

  Join a DANCE PARTY this Thursday night January 18th at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista.  There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food and beverages. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share.  The phenomenal DJ Bing Villafuerte returns and he will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm.

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

 Last Thursday (January 11th) was JANUARY BIRTHDAYS NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, with about 30 dancers enjoying the great music of DJ Nickie Bascos one more time, as you can see in the 6 photos below.  (Note: If the following photos do not appear when you look at this email, click the words at the top of this email that say something like "Show images which are still blocked to protect your privacy" - I already know who you are.  If that doesn't work, you can either click on the places where the photos should be, or go to this website to see the whole email.)


THURSDAY JANUARY 11, 2018, BIRTHDAY NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake:

LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6 to 7pm, and off & on the rest of the night.  Above, early in the night, dancing to "Caballero", a longtime line dance favorite on Thursday nights, it was Edith in front.

SHAKE IT.  A little while later, Eden was enjoying DJ Nickie's lesson to learn the "Shake Your Booty" line dance.

FOOD LINE.   Here's a "Thank You", and some credits for very delicious food.  Nick & Eden brought beef burgundy and rice. Estrelle brought lechon kawali. Remy brought guinataan and oranges. Nedy brought trail mix. Nene brought onde onde with ube. Belen and Rei brought arroz caldo. Nina brought bibingka. Geraldine brought spaghetti. Beth brought banana dessert. And, there was more.

BALLROOM DANCING.  We guys preferred the ballroom dances.  Above, Beth and Romy were dancing a night club 2-step named "Paano Kaya".

HAPPY BIRTHDAY was being sung to January birthday celebrants Josie, Ruben and 1st-timer Sally.

SERENADE.  Above, Romy sang the romantic "King And Queen Of Hearts" to his true-love, Josie, during her birthday party.

Thursday, February 8, 2018:  VALENTINES DANCE PARTY NIGHT in combination with February BIRTHDAY PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. Roses and balloons for February birthday celebrants. DJ Bing Villafuerte.


  It's a fun dance party most Thursday nights, with line dances and ballroom dances like swing including Manila Swing, cha cha, night club 2-step, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego.  While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
