BIRTHDAY DANCE PARTY in EASTLAKE This Thursday January 11, 2018

Hello Dancers,  

  Join a BIRTHDAY DANCE PARTY this Thursday night January 11th at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista.  There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food and beverages, and roses for ladies with January birthdays and balloons for birthday guys. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share.  The incredible DJ Nickie Bascos will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm.  

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

Last Thursday (January 4th) night was a fun dance at Eastlake, with about 25 happy dancers enjoying the great music of DJ Nickie Bascos as you can see in the 4 photos below.  (Note: If the following photos do not appear when you look at this email, click the words at the top of this email that say something like "Show images which are still blocked to protect your privacy" - I already know who you are.  If that doesn't work, you can either click on the places where the photos should be, or go to this website to see the whole email.)


THURSDAY JANUARY 4, 2018, DANCE PARTY at Eastlake:

LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6 to 7pm, and off & on the rest of the night.  Above, dancing to "Cake By The Ocean", a new line dance, it was Karina in front, sort of, while DJ Nickie gave directions. 

FOOD LINE.  Above, Nina was ready to give a blessing for the large amount of food. Here's a "Thank You", and some credits. Nick & Eden brought tocino, rice and munggo guisado. Rei brought layered dip and chips. Mel (not the DJ, but the other Mel) brought sotanghon. Estrelle brought chicken salad sandwiches. Elma brought fruit. Remy brought chicken corn soup. Karina brought sliders. Nedy brought cookies. Nina brought macaroni salad. Belen brought cookies and cake. And, there was more. 

BALLROOM DANCING.  We guys preferred the ballroom dances.  Above, Daisy and Lito danced to the bachata "Careless Whisper".

Thursday, February 1, 2018:  DANCE Party at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. DJ Bing Villafuerte.


  It's a fun dance party most Thursday nights, with line dances and ballroom dances like swing including Manila Swing (also known as 4-count hustle or Philippine swing or Filipino swing), cha cha, night club 2-step, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego.  While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
